Plot:
I'd like to leave most of the plot up to whatever happens to go down. The basic premise is just people living in and around Westhaven. The whole place is generally fictitious with a sprinkling of fantasy and/or magic . We'll have fun, and whatever happens will happen. It could go a whole slew of directions. For time period, think like medieval (castles and such).

Setting:
Westhaven - a smaller city on the north end of the land, all characters will live around this city
Merriwood - a hidden elven village somewhere near Westhaven, its exact location is unknown.
Waterly - the port city on the Great Silver Sea thirty or so miles west of Westhaven, all trade from unmentioned parts of the world comes through here as well as trade bound for unmentioned parts of the world.
Upper Downs - a small village between Westhaven and Waterly
Fallacre - a mysterious abandoned village twenty miles north of Upper Downs
Hollsworthy Hills - a mining community north of Fallacre
Aldlyn - somewhere far south of Westhaven(exact distance unknown). It is a city known to mages, medicine men, and self-proclaimed 'wizards'. Those of the art of magic know this city well.
Morston - approx. forty miles east of Westhaven. The last major town before entering the unknown parts of the world.
The unknown parts of the world - anything over twenty miles east of Morston. It is rumored that folk have traveled that far, but none that have ever returned to tell of what lies there. All that can be seen from Morston is a tall, long mountain range.

*If anyone feels like adding a village, town, city, or place go ahead just make sure you specify where it is and what it is upon introducing it. Perhaps if I feel inclined I'll draw up some sort of map.

Characters:
*Since this is fantasy-ish (and Merriwood is home to elves) anyone can throw in some believable magical beings. Though it is not required, lovely humans are nice too.

Name: Peter Green

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Occupation: Farmer

Location: A small farm a few miles outside of Westhaven

Appearance: Tall and thin, but muscular. Shaggy dark brown hair, bright blue eyes, and is usually in his farm clothes (older pants of some sort and a worn out button up shirt). Typically doesn't wear anything extravagant or very colorful.

Personality: Peter is a very responsible man. He knows his first priority is to look after his sister and his failing farm, so he does that. He doesn't have much of his own life because of this, and is often very stressed and tired but he knows its what he has to do for his sister.

History: Peter and Ana's parents died when they were very young (Peter was 12, Ana was 10). Peter took up the lead role in the family and began to provide for himself and his sister. Their life was rough on their own at first, but they eventually grew into it. They don't know of any other family, as their parents never mentioned any and were always mysterious about it. The farm is currently running, but is going through some hard times. Peter constantly worries, and Ana tries to do what she can to bring in extra money.

Name: Anabel "Ana" Green

Age: 16

Gender: female

Occupation: Helps her brother on the farm, is also a pickpocket

Location: A small farm a few miles outside of Westhaven

Appearance: Tall and thin, slightly muscular. Long, wavy, dark brown hair and bright blue eyes (like her brother). She looks like she at one time had very elegant features, but farm life has roughened her up. She usually wears plain, old dresses that belonged to her mother.

Personality: Young and alive, Ana tries not to let life get her down (though she misses her parents terribly). She is cunning, and quite intelligent for her lack of formal education. She loves living on a farm and running around. She has a knack for being a pickpocket as well (she's quite stealthy).

Name: Rowan Feight

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Occupation: Delivering Mail and packages

Location: Upperdowns

Appearance: She is rather tall for her age though not massive. She has cream-tan skin with large brown eyes that often change colour from a dark shade of choclate brown to hazel brown. Her hair comes to her waist in a mass of stretched curls, the only thing that is straight in her hair is her fringe which passes her arched eyebrows.

Personality: Childish and bubbly, Rowan loves to run around and cause muck for her foster mother who works in the inn of Upperdowns. She always throws caution the wind and never thinks about her actions. Though she is very caring and is smart when it comes down to it. She can also read and write a bad thing for a mail deliverer.

Other: Up for love. Rowan was believed to be born at fallacre so many poeple stay away from her saying that she is cursed.

Name: Joseph Moresby

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Occupation: Watchman

Location: Westhaven

Appearance: Joseph appears young for his age, and also has a rather nervous air about him. He has short, blond-brown hair and sky blue eyes. He is just a little more than average height and is quite thin, seeming to be only marginally more than skin and bones and looking in no way imposing. Even in the light armour and dark uniform of a member of the watch, Joseph fails to look the part.

Personality: He's much as he appears - shy and nervous, with a serious inferiority complex. He rarely shows any kind of outward authority, and often tries to remain unnoticed and leave business to the larger watchmen. When off-duty, he tries to blend in with the crowd and enjoy himself a little, though his shyness often hinders that a little.

History: Joseph has lived his life in the shadow of his father and his older brother. Fighting, in one form or another, is effectively the family business, with his father being the captain of the Westhaven Watch, a man who enjoys drink, gambling, and making sure anyone stepping outside the law is cracked over the head for it. His brother lived up to all their father's hopes and dreams, travelling from Waterly and over the Great Silver Sea to establish himself as the chief bodyguard of a prominent lord. Joseph, on the other hand, hasn't managed to achieve anything in his two years with the watch, and has effectively disappointed his father in that regard. He knows no other life, though, and only wishes that he could make himself into an upstanding champion for the people of Westhaven.

Name: Tallow Greymeer

Age: 30

Gender: Male

Occupation: Overseer and troubleshooter for the Gibson-Mills Mining Company

Location: Hollsworthy Hills, a silver mining town north of Fallacre

Appearance: Tall and haggard, and worn down despite his age. His mane of black hair and his short beard are both streaked with grey, and his murky green eyes are hardened and contemptuous. He wears a fairly utilitarian robe, with a short club belted to his side and a heavy looking pouch on a leather strap around his neck.

Personality: Tallow acts disparaging and cynical most of the time, seeming to be a man who does not suffer fools lightly, and certainly not any miner who might complain about his workload. Privately, however, he is also a very cautious and calculating man, and a shrewd judge of character.

History: The Gibson-Mills mining company rarely asks questions, as long as the job gets done and they make a hefty profit from it. Hence, not a soul in Hollsworthy Hills, nor in the company itself, knows where Tallow came from. All that is known is that as an overseer, his section of Hollsworthy turns out more silver than any other shaft. As a troubleshooter, his role is less well-defined, and the miners have long since stopped asking for information. The owners of the company, realising that problems in the form of both townspeople and "unforseen developements" had a habit of arising, hired a select group of cut-throats and mercenaries to deal with such problems. Tallow was one of those hired to make up numbers and look intimidating, and yet is the only one of the original men hired who remains on the outside of a pine box.

Name: Roseanna Marra

Age: 22

Gender: Female

Occupation: Theif

Location: Kind of travels along.

Appearance: Long black hair, to her waist, and very pale skin. Her lips are a light pink and her eyes are green. She is really very pretty, which is how she steals off so many men.

Personality: She is clever, cunning, but has a heart, tooo. She will NOT kill, and is very kind to people she doesn't want to steal from. Almost like the too-honesty sister the person never had.

Location: Westhaven

Appearance: She's tall and slender, with a beautiful body, not thin and not too curvy. Her face is thin and has beautiful rose colored full lips. Her almond eyes are brown as well as her hair is brown and straight. She has very feminine and sensual features, but with a cute innocent look still.

Personality:She's really shy and likes to have friends, she's actually really friendly and fun to be around. She's really humble and doesn't like much praising and honor because she thinks she doesn't deserve them. She believes that family and friends are the best gift from God and is willing to keep them no matter what for she grew up with her aunt.
Her history is quite sad. Her parents died when she was just three and since she had no one to stay with, her aunt adopted her and took care of her as if she was her own. Years later her aunt's husband died leaving the family alone, just her, her aunt and her cousin. But she had learned to see the bright side of life even when darkness is more prominent.

Occupation: Servant/Cook's assistant.

Location: Westhaven.

Appearance: Tall with waist length dark hair in a single plait down her back and dark blue-grey eyes. Wears a gypsy skirt* and a peasant top* with a corset over it.

Personality: Careful but kind, Gwen is often in trouble with the cook she works for and has a horrid temper when backed into a corner. Gwen is silent and quick and the cook she works for often forgets that she's there.

History: Though her name is Morwenna, she is know as Gwen to the people of Westhaven. This is because she was the daughter of a Gypsy King and his enemies are looking for her. (Hope that's fine by you guys.) No knows how Gwen ended up in the Lord of Westhaven's kitchen and they don't question it...

Other: Gwen likes to sneak around and often sneaks out to watch the Watchmen while they're on duty, though they don't know she's there as she;s very quiet and quick on her feet. She has a brother but she hasn't seen him in years. Up for love.

* Gypsy skirt and peasant top-if you don't know what these two are, google them. Oh, and if you want me to post a male profile, do tell me.

Name: Christophe Sable.

Age: 20.

Gender: Male.

Occupation: Thief/Travelling Merchant.

Location: Christophe's location is usually unknown though he was last seen in Waterly.

Appearance: Tall with brown-blond hair and grey-blue eyes, Christophe is a real ladies man with his cold facade and distant look. It seems the ladies like a moody one.

Personality: Moody and distant, cold and cruel-these are what he's had to show for years as a part-time thief and a Merchant. He's really kind and loving, though he's had to replace these qualities with a cold, cruel facade since he ran away from the Gypsies.

History: Not much is known about Christophe's history, apart from the fact that he's Gwen's brother. He's travelled a lot and he's an outcast Gypsy prince but there's not much more to know, apart from his little escapades as a Thief.

Other: He's Gwen, or rather Morwenna's, brother. Both are the children of a deceased Gypsy King and are in hiding from their enemies. Up for love.

If anyone wants to play Gwen and Christophe's enemy, go for it.
