Premise:
In the future, physically disabled children are given a new lease on life.
They can be placed in shells, or mechanical "bodies" that let them interface
with computers on an astonishing level.
The mobile part of a "brain's" life is handled by a brawn: a specially
trained human in constant contact with him or her.
You're either a brain or a brawn currently finished with training.
Now you're awaiting your partner, anxious about your future.
