Viper

With a sigh, Viper had told the others that he would not be joining them inside the restaurant. He'd said it was because he didn't want to scare any of the kids inside. In reality it had more to do with being stared at like some hideous freak of nature.

His eye caught sight of his right hand, completely covered in black scales. It's not like they don't have reason, anyways. Feeling thoroughly melancholy, he laid down in the back seat and fiddled with the seat belt.

He must've dozed off, because the next thing he knew there was a violent jerk and he almost rolled onto the floor. "OW, what the crap?" The Misfit sat up, blinking in confusion.

"Daemyn? Where're we going?"

Amber:

I sighed and stuffed my sunglasses into my bag.

"Alright," I said and took a deep breath.

"Alright?" Kendall asked.

"I'll tell you what I can control," I said and turned towards him. "I control fire and earth. Don't ask me why... I just can."

He stared at me for a moment. "Fire and Earth?"

I sighed. "See, I knew it. I knew you wouldn't believe me."

I shook my head. "No, no. I believe you, I'm just impressed."

She looked at me, eyebrows raised. "You are?"

I nodded. "I've never met anyone who can do two things, but then again the only Misfits I know is me and my sister and you."

She narrowed her eyes. "I'm not a Misfit."

I nodded. "Right."

Amber:

I narrowed her eyes at him. "I'm not a Misfit."

"Right." He was nodding.

"Anyways, my name is Amber," I told him, changing the subject. He smiled. "I think I told you that..."

"Amber?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. Then he chuckled. "It suits you."

I sighed and stood up, dusting off my jeans and picking up my bag.

"Well," I said, looking around. "What now?"

I stood up with her and looked at the sky. Night was falling fast. I sighed. "We might as well start heading back to my tent."

Amber blinked at me. "Where you live?!"

I nodded. "Why? Have a problem?"

She swallowed, then shook her head slowly. "I guess not..."

"Good!" I said turning and heading toward the tents.

Zack

As soon as we reached the haven for all five year olds, I floated away from the group.

After a moment or two, I found a greasy table where sixteen hyper kids were chugging Sprite and throwing pizza on the floor. A man in a Chuck E. Cheese suit stood nearby, looking increasingly nervous as he attempted to control the herd of children.

I took control of a piece of pizza and flung it out of a child's hand at another, hitting him squarely in the face. As he started crying, a different kid caught on and flung a slice at one of his friends. A food war escalated, and I flew away, satisfied.

I spotted another kid literally hopping up and down in excitement to play a game. I hovered over and entered the quarter his father was brandishing. As soon as I was in the change slot, I stopped in mid fall. Outside, the kid cried in disdain as the game didn't start. His father tried the coin return, but of course, nothing. He put in another quarter, but I blocked it's way. After a few more tries, the father had to drag his wailing son away.

After a few more tricks, I re-formed and decided I might as well find the others.

Nick, teleporter,

I notice Zack making trouble, as usual. I snort. Here I was thinking that he'd changed. I shake my head in disgust. Why do I even bother dealing with him? Whatever. I walk over to him, and tap him on the shoulder.

"Having fun, are we?" I hiss in his ear. He whirls around.

"Yeah," he grins, "And lots of it."

"Well, when you've had enough, you'll be able to notice that Daemyn has been forcibly evicted from the building."

"Really?" Zack looks vaguely interested, "Why?"

"Why do you think? He was being Daemyn. And you know him..."

Zack nods, "Yeah, I can see that happening."

"We need to get back to the lot," I say.

"Correction," I reply smugly. "You need to get back to the lot. Why should I care if Daemyn is going berserk? Go ahead. On to the lot. Meanwhile, I'll be here- having a heck of a lot more fun than you."

"Not so," Nick replies. "I need you powers for my idea to work."

This sounded trouble-causing enough to grab my attention.

"What do you have in mind?"

Amber:

I followed Kendall back to his tent, hoping that I wouldn't accidentally set anything on fire. I had a small problem with my control--it was slipping and I wasn't sure why.

Kendall frowned and looked back at me. I kept my head down to hide how black I was sure my eyes were starting to look.

"Are you alright?" he asked. I resisted the urge to look up.

"Yeah, "I muttered. "I'm fine..."

He kept looking at me. I sighed and looked up.

"I'm fine, Kendall and don't be freaked out by my eyes."

Kendall stared at me for a moment and then; "That is so cool!"

I groaned. "No it's not," I muttered. "They go black when I'm angry, upset or using my powers... Right now, my control is slipping."

"Oh," he muttered, suddenly realises how much trouble I could case while controlling-or not controlling, as I was at the moment-two elements.

Daemyn

"Oh, hey Viper," I said, waving at his dark form in the back seat. "We're here to get this chicks brother. So, where is he?"

"Our tent's this way," she said, hopping out of the van and walking away from it.

I shrug, opening my door. "You coming?" I ask Viper, already walking away.

Viper blinked for a moment before following. "Her brother? What's he look like?"

"Oh, uh..." Daemyn frowned. "What does he look like?"

The tent was getting closer.

((ugh, mine was short too))

lol Shortwins! =D DAEMYN<

"I dunno," I said. "Prolly like her. Hey, speaking of girls how are you and Zanette doing? You guys ever officially get together."

Just as he opened his mouth to talk the tent in front of us burst into flames, Keshra just feet away from the flames.

"Oy!" I yelped, lunging at her. After some struggle I managed to get her a good ten feet away. I closed my eyes and pictured the fire going out, leaving the tent smothering but not aflame any more.

"Oh, thank God," She sighed, shaking slightly. I opened my eyes, and saw the real flames still alive, and getting bigger.

xD Viper

Viper's face reddened (the non-scaly part anyways). He'd never been able to work up the courage to ask her before the circus disbanded. Maybe now-

Flames leapt up spontaneously. "Craaaap," he muttered, backing away. "How did that happen?"

Daemyn seemed to be trying to put it out with his powers, but the fire wasn't dying down.

Amber:

I felt myself burst into flames and backed away from the tent, and the others. At least it was only my fire that I currently couldn't control. They really did not want my Earth to come out to play.

"Stay back," I called and shrugged my bag off my shoulder. At least that wasn't burning. I guess I still had some control. "I can't control it..."

I looked towards the newcomers, surprised to see a girl who looked a lot like Kendall.

"Um, help?" I asked. I felt my Earth stirring. Oh, no. No, no, no. "No!" I gasped "Not that too!"

The others gave me a strange look but only Kendall understood.

"Not the Earth too?" he asked, backing away from me.

"I don't know," I told him. "I think it's just responding to the fire..." I looked up and tried to concentrate. "Err, help?"

I took a deep breath and outsretched my arms, slowing my breathing.

Suddenly, all around me, the shadows of the flames crept up around Amber. "Amber," I called to her, "don't panic! I'm going to give you a bubble, it should keep the earth and fire concled within it!"

She looked at me, her eyes wide. "I don't think it'll hold the earth!"

I look around me, I saw Keshra...oh. There she was.

"Kesh!" I called out to her, I motoined for her to come over. She ran over.

"What?"

"I need you to make another bubble around the one I'm making. Only a little bigger."

She nodded and took the same stance as me. In perfect sync only twin Misfits could have, we managed to form what looked like a giant eye. A small bubble big enough to fit Amber in the center of a bright yellow sphere.

"Alright Amber! We can still hear you, tell us when it stops!"
