Death of the Titans

-Richard
“Eh? What’s that?” I asked, getting out of my bed.
“Get out of bed, you lazy bum. There’s a visitor at the door.” Said my wife. I was instantly wide awake. We mercenaries live for our visitors, because they are usually customers. I started to get dressed, which is always a difficulty; because there are so many things to put on to make yourself presentable; first the tunic, then the leather armor, then the breastplate, and finally the sword on your back.
“Hey, guy, It’s pretty early in the morning, so unless you have a really big job- King Merci!” I bowed. “What do you desire, milord?” Why is he here? I thought.
“Richard, you have been hired. You are one of our best mercenaries, and someone from Humania has asked you to come to him.” King Merci said.
“Humania?!?” I exclaimed. “But what about the exile?”
“This man has political power. He has eased the laws so that you may enter.” Said the King. “He will be paying thirty thousand platinum pieces.”
“Thirty thousand?” I asked. “So, we split it fifty/fifty?”
“Yes.”
“Could I borrow the Gun?”
“Yes. You might need it considering what you are being paid.”
“Where’s the contract?”

-Kronos
“Well, the prophecy may come true or maybe not.” I looked into my Orb of Viewing. “He wishes to activate the Death? Helios!” I called for the Titan of Sun.
“Yes, Lord Kronos?” The Titan asked.
“Increase the guard near the Death’s gate. Also, add some ballistae on its beach and put mages in the ranks.” I commanded.
“Yes sir. It shall be done.” He then diapeared like a ray of sun.
“Good riddance.” I said, under my breath.

Hallo!
That was very nice. Snappy, good rhythm, nice pulp style in a fantasy setting. Substituting the private eye with the mercenery but keeping the atmosphere - you are getting away with it quite well. So far. Let's see where this goes

One thing - “Get out of bed, you lazy bum. There’s a visitor at the door.” Said my wife. - should be comma after the door

well done
she got a dazed impression of a whirling chaos in which steel flashed and hacked, arms tossed, snarling faces appeared and vanished, and straining bodies collided, rebounded, locked and mingled in a devil's dance of madness.

“Eh? What’s that?” I asked, getting out of my bed.
“Get out of bed, you lazy bum. There’s a visitor at the door.#FF0000 "> this should be a comma and a small 's' for said” Said my wife. I was instantly wide awake. We mercenaries live for our visitors, because they are usually customers. I started to get dressed, which is always a difficulty; #FF0000 ">I'm not sure but i feel like there's not supposed to be a semi colon here because there are so many things to put on to make yourself presentable; first the tunic, then the leather armor, then the breastplate, and finally the sword on your back.
“Hey, guy, It’s pretty early in the morning, so unless you have a really big job- King Merci!” I bowed. “What do you desire, milord?” Why is he here? #FF0000 ">thoughts are usually in italics I thought.
“Richard, you have been hired. You are one of our best mercenaries, and someone from Humania has asked you to come to him. #FF0000 ">at the end of someones speech there should be a comma, not a fullstop unless it isn't followed by 'he said'/'she said' etc.” King Merci said.

“Well, the prophecy may come true or #FF0000 ">i think this would read better as or it may not or maybe may or may not come truemaybe not.” I looked into my Orb of Viewing. “He wishes to activate the Death? Helios!” I called for the Titan of Sun.
“Yes, Lord Kronos?” The Titan asked.
“Increase the guard near the Death’s gate. Also, add some ballistae on its beach and put mages in the ranks.” I commanded.

overall this was pretty good you just need to watch out for spelling and gramatical errors
