I was inspired to write this after listening to "the Crisis" from the Seven Pounds soundtrack, I really encourage reading this while listening to the song.
We Bow Down
Sometimes in life we have the need to be humble; to swallow up our pride and bow down; to be chaste and naïve, regardless of the consequences.
Because sometimes too much is more than just enough, because sometimes perfection isn’t what you were looking for.
There’s a time in life; crossroads when we realize that maybe, just maybe, being wrong is not always a bad thing. When we realize bowing down to our lower self; to our weak side, represents the beauty of acknowledgement that we indeed are not perfect. And therefore, suffering is natural. Being wrong is okay. And failure is part of who we are.
Sometimes, just sometimes, when there’s a strange exception, we need to bow down to that oddly beautiful side of us. Which is imperfect, which is wrong and wild; which is okay because it belongs to us.
Sometimes, in order to grow; to proceed, we just need to bow down.
