CJ's black with dark brown eyes. Her hair's the same color, really long, and somewhat curly. She's also tall and well rounded (not skinny, not fat, strong arms and legs).
So that's just a small description I wanted to give, sorry I didn't before...

Chapter 10
"CJ!?Wh-what are you doing here?" I stammered.
"Yelling at your two-faced..face!" she screeched back. She tended to lose coherent thought when she was angry.
I got off of Greg, also removing the tip of the blade from his throat. He got up as well.
I noted her angry stance. "CJ, calm down, I can explain" I spoke softly, trying my hardest to subside her as I made my way to her.
She raised a finger to me, her eyes wide and angry. The contrast of her chocolate brown skin with the white of her eyes made her stare look scarier. "Don't 'CJ' me, you lied to me!"
I put my hands up in a gesture of defencelessness. "I know, but there's a reason w-"
"'Cause you're a bitch, that's why! You didn't want to share any guys with me! Me! Your best friend! How selfish can you get?"
"Wha-" I stilled. Had I just heard right? She thought I'd lied to her because of... a guy?
I burst out laughing.
"This isn't funny! If you don't stop right now I'll kick your ass... More than I was going to already!"
"Ooh," Greg gave an excited shiver as he came up behind me "a cat fight. That's hot. I'm so up for that."
"Shut up!" we shouted in unison.
"All right, all right" he raised up his hands in a peace gesture.
I turned back to CJ. Her features were set in a pensive mode. She was obviously mauling over what to do to me. "Look, I'm sorry but-"
"You have no idea how worried I was!" she screamed. "I knew something was wrong but you wouldn't tell me; I thought maybe you were in trouble. I got Robert at the police station to locate where your cell phone was. Luckily he's my cousin and didn't ask any questions. Then I find you've been shaking up here! I know you've been trying to get a boyf-"
"This isn't about guys!" I said, sighing. She was hopeless. She was just too caught up thinking different scenarios. Notice, no normal person would figure out what was really going on. I couldn't blame her for making stuff up, or even for being furious with me. I have to tell her. She deserved that much.
I turned to Greg. "Can I?" It was no use mentioning what, we both knew what I meant. If he says no, it's going to get ugly.
He shrugged. "The contract states you aren't allowed to tell anyone. Technically though, you haven't signed anything yet." he tapped his chin lightly "Hm. I'm suddenly hungry. Crys, why don't you spend some quality time with your friend?" he gave me a wink and left the gym. I laughed softly. I guess there's always some way around obstacles.
I peered at CJ. She was still angry, although the prospect of having answers had calmed her down a notch. I took in and expanded a slow breath before spilling the beans. I told her everything that had happened, mellowing or skipping certain events though. I just didn't want to freak her out.
She stayed impassive, for the most part. When I finished, I waited for her reaction. She debated her thoughts for a couple of seconds, clenching and unclenching her fists a few times. "How long has this been going on?" she finally asked.
"Three weeks"
"Three weeks? Yeah right. You can't learn to fight like that in such a short time!"
"Actually, she can" echoed a voice behind CJ. She turned around and I leaned sideways to make out Tony in the doorway. He walked over leisurely, twirling a dagger in his left hand. "These abilities are a solitary genetic. When a person becomes a Shifter, they're using the one and only gene that is in the family. So when the next descendant Shifter comes along, it's the same gene that mutates and is reused." At CJ's dumbfounded look, he tried a different way of explaining it. "It's like when you learn to ride a bike. You learn it once, and even if you don't ride one for months after that, you don't forget how; you just need to get the hang of it again." He came up in front of CJ. "So theoretically, she already knew how to do all this, she just needed to get back into the groove of it." he smiled.
I'd already known that from Gigi, but CJ didn't. I expected her to be surprised, amazed, something. Instead, she looked... angry?
"You" she accused, glaring at Tony. His smile faded and his whole face turned into a frown, not expecting her reply. He even stopped twirling his dagger. Then, to both our surprise, she punched him; right in the face, not holding anything back.
He didn't budge, although shock was evident on his face. He put a hand to his cheek, as if to make sure that it hadn't all been an illusion. I wasn't worried about him though; he would never raise a hand to a girl.
"That's for taking away my baby girl from me!" she stated furiously. Since she was almost six feet tall herself, she could nearly look him straight in the eye, and did so accusingly.
"You'd think you would be nice to me, since I let you in the house." he said matter-of-factly. She looked at him surprisingly. "Do you really think we wouldn't realize someone was sneaking in through the window? I decided to be fair though since, after all, you went through all that trouble to get here. I thought Crys would want to have her BF in the loop" he bent slightly to meet her gaze directly. "Don't. Make. Me. Regret." he enunciated each word like you would with a child.
Then he glanced over her shoulder at me. "Gigi wants to see you" he glanced at CJ one last time before pivoting on himself. Just before crossing the door, he turned to the nearest wall and threw his dagger, embedding it in the bull's eye of the target directly in line with him. And then he continued on his way, as if nothing. Okay...That was weird, I thought as he walked out.
CJ stared at the target for some time, before stomping her foot and letting out a whine. She resembled a four year old throwing a hissy fit. "He drives me crazy! I don't get what you see in that guy!" she hissed.
"Huh?"
"Oh come on. Don't try to bullshit me here; it's obvious you like the guy. You were practically drooling while stalking his ass when he left."
"I did not stare at his butt!" I shouted indignantly. She gave me an all-knowing look. "Maybe a little" I corrected. She put her hands to her hips. "A lot?" She smiled smugly and nodded.
"Your face practically glows every time you see him. But I won't let him take you away from me; you were mine first." She put on her sneaky smile, the one she used when she was going into battle, of sorts.
"You're ridiculous," I shook my head at her. "and I don't have time for this." I moved to go past her and she caught my arm.
"I don't agree with any of this Crys. You knew I wouldn't. For all I know you guys are in some kind of cult and have been doing drugs. But I can't decide what your allowed to do with your life, no matter what it is. So I'll let you be, I won't interfere. And I'll be there if ever you need me to whoop some butt."
I smiled. She was taking this surprisingly well. For now. "Thanks"
She shrugged. "Someone's gotta take care of you"
Yeah, that was more like her, acting all indifferent to feelings. She let go of my arm and we made our way across the gym and into the hallway. Going to the kitchen, I left her there in the hallway a second, just to check it out. There was only a stuffed-mouthed Greg. I swear, the guy had the largest appetite I'd ever seen, and that was saying something when you ate with four full grown men.
I glanced around the wide room, with its red and grey walls, brown cupboards and granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances... and a mountain load of dishes. I glared at Greg, who stared back at me, noodles dangling off his chop sticks and his mouth. Not the cutest thing. I shook my head at his ridiculous appearance. CJ came in and made herself quite at home, sitting down in the stool beside his at the counter. He looked from her to me and back.
"Don't just sit there! Be a man! Make her something to eat" I commanded. Instantly, he chugged down the noodles and got up to make CJ a meal. I laughed soundlessly, especially when I saw CJ's interest in his reaction. He didn't know it yet, but he was going to be her next target.
I regained the hallway, heading towards Gigi's office. Since she was our doctor, she'd converted the bedroom beside her and Jason's into a medical room. At this hour, she was certainly locked up in there. When I arrived, the door was slightly ajar, so I took it as a sign to enter.
Big mistake.
A tousled haired Gigi was sitting on her desk, with a shirtless Jason leaning into the crook of her legs. Their arms were intertwined, as were their mouths. I suddenly felt very awkward. I cleared my throat loudly. Instantly they separated from one another, turned to me and began straightening themselves.
"We were just doing a body te-test” Gigi mumbled.
“Uh huh. Remind me if ever I need one that there′s a cute local doctor nearby."
They both laughed, seeing the stupidity of her earlier statement. Jason bent to grab his shirt that lay on the floor, and shrugged it on. "What can I say? She's irresistible." he gave her a peck on the nose and she giggled. Afterwards, he left us alone.
She asked me the usual medical questions, just to make sure I was doing okay. Although I was pretty sure she was trying to direct any conversation away from her and Jason. Yeah, good luck with that.
"You guys are so cute together."
She laughed awkwardly. "Thanks. He's been getting better with his emotions lately. He used to be such a barbarian."
"Barbarian? That seems kind of mean"
She shook her head. "Pas du tout. He thinks of himself as a highlander."
I laughed out loud. "What?! You've got to be kidding me!"
She leaned closer to me, as though afraid he would hear her. "I'm serious. He's Scottish and so were all his ancestors. A lot of people say that highlanders used to wield magic. Not hard to put two and two together. So Jason believes he's descended from highlanders." She dropped her voice to a whisper. "One time, I caught him running around the house with his sword, in a kilt! I mean, it's a skirt! It took me over ten minutes to stop laughing" and even as she spoke, she laughed about it. I couldn't help a giggle myself.
Seconds later, our amusement finally died down. Gigi wiped away a fallen tear as I heaved myself up on her examining table. "Anyways, that's not why I wanted to see you." She went over to her desk and grabbed a paper folder. "Ben asked me to do some research for you. I think you might want to see this" she handed the pack to me.
"What is it?" I asked. She looked way too serious all of a sudden, and it was kind of creeping me out.
"It's about your long lost grandfather. The man you're going to meet tomorrow."
