I made this about two years ago.I copied and pasted that guy and did a lot of changes to his shirt and hair...anyway I put a different background and created rain...you get the idea! :P It was from Owl City's song On The Wing. Please comment! I like your opinions!

I have never reviewed something like this I thought it was worth a try.
I think that the background seems rather blurry and it would look better if it was a little sharper. It is also hard to figure out what the second line of words means.I would also try centering the title. over all I thought it was ok.
Have a great day Fiction.

Hey, foxfire, here at your service...

Okay for the review...

firstly, the top parts of the book seems alright and i like the curvy symmetrical shapes of the clouds as well as the color of the clouds. However as we descend farther down the picture, it gets a little crowded. Because at the bottom part, we got a man, some words and an owl.

FIrstly, the words a little hard to read-not saying that it should be out- but try to make it clear. I think the words could be a summary at the back part of the book r it can placed at the bottom section of the cover page.

Secondly, the guy. I like the drawing...it's good but it seems to get the attention rather than the owl beside it. Unless, they are interacting with each other but these tow people are not interacting. Their eyes are not facing at each other.
As well, the curves are a little edgy but the owl is cute. I like it.

Okay, above all, the cover has a nice color on it. You need to work, i think, on the space and the position of the characters or images in the bottom sector.
John McClane: Drop it. It's the police.
Tony: You won't hurt me.
John McClane: Oh, yeah? Why not?
Tony: Because you're a policeman. There are rules for policemen.
John McClane: Yeah. That's what my captain keeps telling me

Hi Pacific_Sky14. This could be better. I say that because, it's pretty eye-appealing, but it doesn't look like cover art at all-more like a Photoshop exercise. It's very rough and doesn't look very professional. What are those white swirly lines up top? I'd remove them, as they just distract from the image. The water was OK but not very convincing. Your strongest aspect was the guy-but I can tell he has been cut out off a different image. So! I'd redo this, and if you're not the best at photoshop, that's alright. My advice? See if you can find and actual photo of this background and play with the editing tools a bit to make it look like a painting. PM me if you need anything.

Hi pacific--

This is a good start to a cover...although I really don't know what it's a cover for? Or is it just a picture based on the song? It's a great idea, but it's kind of like it doesn't have enough control over it's own features to really work well together.

The background does need to be a little less blurry, and the rain needs to look like rain...right now it looks like snow. Mostly, what I'm seriously confused about is the water...is he standing in the water? And further more, why is there an owl in the water? I would honestly just remove the water...it's kind of awkward no matter how you look at it.

It really is a pretty good start, just get a little more control over the surface features.

Good luck,

I can't really see the lyrics and that's the first thing I pick up because it looks blurred and unprofessional, if I were you, I'd either paint a burred white behind them so they stand out more, or make the whole text white and format a drop shadow.

Other than that it's very colourful and creative. I think it could do with a good edit to make it look fuller and lose some of the blurry items and affects or the cheap cheesy look that you get from underlining "Owl City", but it's a good start.

Keep up the creativity,
Ben
