I'm alive!

I just spent the night inside a snow shelter. It was warm inside the sleeping bag (though damp), even though it was below zero outside! When I woke up, the inside was coated in frost. It was nice, but not very comfortable (the floor was too hard).

If anyone has any questions (like for a story), feel free to ask.

That's fascinating, Merlin. I'd heard that frost doesn't form indoors - apparently not! What kind of snow shelter was it? Are we talking like a cave made of snow, or a full-on igloo? Did you make it yourself? More details!

The shelter is called a "snow coffin" (needs a new name I think). It's like a trench covered with branches and a tarp, and then some snow, with a blanket covering the entrance and some foam pads on the ground. I dug the trench and then my dad helped me with the rest.

That is cool. (I guess the 'cool' can be literal)
