History: She was born in France, but she was so weak that even the best doctor in france couldn't help her. Her mom brought her to america in hope of finding a better doctor here.

Style of Dress: various tank tops and short jean shorts. Has a girlier flare to her style, but it is also all geared toward comfort.

Personality: Jackie is a major tomboy, though she doesn't look it. Likes to enjoy the best of both worlds.

-Weaknesses and Flaws: doesn't really know where to fit in, can be loud and obnoxious sometimes, can be insecure, doesn't know how to swim (very afraid of water!)

History: Jackie just moved to Ludington right at the start of the summer. She doesn't know anyone her age (she didn't attend any of the school year here) and is a bit of a loner currently. Her father died when she was twelve. She was with him on a boat out on the ocean when a storm hit and her father was washed overboard, never to be seen again. She was found the the next day by the coast guard. She has hated water ever since. She has a 5 yr old little brother and lives with her eccentric single mother. Jackie managed to get a job at the Blu Moon and is hoping to meet some people that way.

Personality: Jared is a really nice, laid back kind of guy. Nice to pretty much everyone, unless someone is really mean to him or someone else.



-Weaknesses and Flaws: He's cheap. He hates spending a lot of money on things even though he almost always has the money to do so. He really wants to go to college, and no one is paying for it but him.



-Likes/Interests/Skills: He loves to be outside. He also likes music and to read. He's good at pretty much anything that requires a board. He also likes to drive his dad's boat around the lake.



-Dislikes: Mean people, storms, and really expensive things.




History: Jared has grown up in Ludington all his life, even after his parent's divorce. He only sees his mom every holiday. He grew up with his dad, who's really a compassionate guy, but believes in the value of hard work. He told Jared that if he wanted to go to college, then he would have to do it on his own.

Physical Appearance: Samantha has reddish brown hair and bright green eyes. She is always seen laughing and smiling, acting as if the world is sort of kind of happy. She has pretty average skin that has freckles during the summer and hair that falls past her shoulders, swooped to the side.

Style of Dress: She dresses rationally but in a cute way. Shorts when it's hot paired with a tanktop. She is mostly (if not always) barefoot.







Personality: All around nice, but a bit strange. She is constantly day dreaming but likes about everything. She can do anything if she is set on it, but gets bored quite easily.



-Weaknesses and Flaws: She actually suffers chronic depression but takes pills. This is her deepest darkest secret so no one knows.

-Dislikes: Pills, people who don't try and quitters (herself)







History: Her father is a buissnessman who is never home and her mother does the same. They are never home leaving Sam to her thoughts, making her completely free range. Despite not needing money she works at the pool as a lifeguard.

I walk through the marble halls of my house, the heels of my shoes click on the floor. Another doctor was here to see me today. But I still had an hour. I might as well enjoy it while I could.

I hoped in my porshe and drove over to the blue moon, my favorite cafe.

"Hey Jackie!" I said in the strongest voice I could.

"Oh, hey Anna." She said. Most people were very uncomftorable around me, she was the exception.

"How's the buisness today?" I ask, as she goes to seat me.

"Pretty good, for a thursday. Whats up with you?" She asked, seeing right through my calm faquade.

"Another doctor is 'in town'. and mom wants him to see me. I am so sick of doctors, and their needles."

"Maybe this one will finally have the cure." Jackie said. the words 'the cure' had become almost magic to me.

"Maybe," I say, never really sure.

Can I join? I'm in a billion SBs right now, but one more can't hurt, can it? I'll want a place for a guy, if I can have one ^_^

It was the first Thursday of the summer. I was pretty pumped. I had my usual job at Gordy's and was loving every minute of it. I had been there since about nine that morning and served a few people, but now it was twelve thirty. Break time!

I grabbed my board and skated down to the Blu Moon. I walked in and saw Anna and Jack at the counter.

"Hey, pretty ladies." I said, walking over to them.

"Hey, Jared." they replied simultaneously.

"Whattcha doin'?" I asked, leaning against the counter. My eyes were adjusting better to the darker interior.

"Uh, working?" said Jacks.

"Oh, Jack, sarcasm will get you no where in life."

"Well, until you stop calling me Jack, I'll continue with my sarcasm, thank you very little." she said with a laugh.

I turned my attention to Anna, who I sometimes called Annie. "Hey, Annie, how've you been feeling?"

"Okay, I suppose." She replied quietly. "There's another doctor here, but I'm so sick of them. I just want them to go away."

"Well, I was planning on going to the State park this weekend to do some camping. Do you want to come?"

She blushed. "Well, I don't know...I-"

"C'mon. It'll be big fun." I threw my arm around her shoulder. "Jack was planning to come, too, weren't you Jack."

"Yeah. Mary gave me the weekend off, so I'll be able to go."

"It'll also be nice because the tourists haven't showed up yet. They'll show up in about two weeks, so we need to take advantage of it while we can." I said with a laugh.

"Hey, is Sam coming?" Jack asked, starting to wipe down the counters.

"I think she was planning on it. Oh, will you get me two BLT's? Gordy wanted one, too."

Jack gave the the sandwiches a few minutes later. "Thanks, Jack."

"Jackie." she said with a humph.

"That's what I said. Jack."

She threw a wad of paper at me and I laughed as it hit my chest. "I'll see you two later. Hey, Annie, just come down to Gordy's later to tell me if you're going to come or not, 'kay?"

She smiled. "Okay. Thanks, Jared."

"No problemo. See ya!"

With the BLTs in hand, I skated back down the street.

Anna

It would be so cool to go camping. I had allways wanted too. No city lights no doctors, no needles. at this last thought I hopped in my pink porshe and drove strait to the shop.

"Jared, I will go!" I said.

"Hey look, its the albino!" one of his friends called out.

"Shut up, Mark." I retorted.

"Ah, dont listen to them." Jared said, "But I am glad you can come."

"I am glad I am invited anywhere."

"You invited albino to come camping, didn't you?" Mark said.

"Yes, he did." I retorted, before leaving the shop. Stupid Mark.

Name: Johnny Patrick McArthur

Age: 16

-Weight: pretty thin, I don't know about actual numbers He's a wimp, though. Not buff.

History: grew up with a single mom and two cats. Never met his father, never talked about him and is ok with that. Had a god life. Only ever had two girlfriends. That's it, really. Nothing much. Oh, he got his scar when he was ten, when he broke his collar bone falling out of a tree.

Jackie

Jared left almost as quickly as he had come, and Anna ran out shortly after. Jackie sighed and leaned against the counter. Business wasn't very good today, and it wouldn't be until the tourists hit. At least, that's what she had heard. She was new in town, only here for a few weeks. Since she moved in next door to Jared, they were naturally fast friends though he tended to get on her nerves.

Anna had come soon after. She came into the Blu Moon often and they would talk while Jackie worked.

"Business is slow," Mary, Jackie's boss, said. "You go ahead and take off early."

"Thanks, Mary!" Jackie said, running out of the cafe. She pulled on her skates and took off down the street. The air was warm, but not too bad yet, it was still early in the summer. Still, Jackie was glad for her jean shorts and gray tank top.

Jackie sped down the street and into he open door of Gordy's. "Hey boys," she called as she rolled up to the counter.

"Hey Jacks, Mary let you off early?" Jared asked.

Jackie shot him an annoyed look for the name. "Hey Anna," she turned to her friend, smiling, and ignoring Jared. "So are you coming camping?"

"Yeah, I am!" she said with a smile.

"Ugh," Mark groaned. "You invited Jack too?"

Jackie glared and punched Mark in the arm. "Shut it."

Jared laughed, but Mark didn't find it as amusing. "Dude, she lets you call her that. Why not me?"

"Because you're a jerk, Mark," Jared said.

Jackie smiled sweetly and brushed her long blond hair over her shoulder. "I'm really pumped that you're coming, Anna. It'll be a ton of fun, just don't mind the boys."

Anna

I called Jared later that night.

"Hello?" he said.

"Jared, I need your help."

"Okay, Annie, what do ya need."

"Well, about this weekend, my parents will never let me go. So I am going to have to sneak out. I am going to need someone to drive me, though, because my parents would notice if my car went missing."

"A break out plan, excellent..."

"I know, it is kind of exciting. But could you pick me up at about 11 o' clock on friday night."

"Uh, let me check my invisible planner. Yup, that will work. I am glad you can come."

"Thanks Jared, bye."
