Heres a quick drawing I made one night listening to music... and yes I know her ear is high. Also, for your information, I didn't copy off of any drawings... I never do.
Hey there Zumi! I'm here to review for you. I wouldn't really know if the ear's high since I can't see the other one. Maybe he just has huge ears. *shrugs* Where's the mouth? Did you just not draw one? I suppose it looks just fine without one, but it seemed wierd when I first saw the picture. The shading is pretty good, but what about the shading underneath the hair? I like the hair since it's kinda scraggly and I like that. Saying that, I'm not quite sure if this is a boy or a girl or some kind of it thing. The face seems masculine, but it has girl hair. Or maybe I'm just looking at it the wrong way. I bet if it had some lips I would be able to tell... Hope I helped! ~Danie
Thanks for the review. I didn't add the mouth because I didn't want to ruin it. And about the ear, if you can see, it is placed way above the eyes which isn't so normal. Yes it is a girl, I thought the eyes were supposed to show that...
This is a good drawing. I found a few suggestions.
Well, The eyes suggest it's a girl but maybe you could add eyelashes. The facial structure is more masculine. I would suggest you to look up on how to draw females, it would definitely help you.
The shading of the nose is a little off. It seems as if it sticks out too much.
The right eye needs to made a bit smaller taking into consideration the perspective view.
You should keep practicing the mouth until you find one that suits this picture.

I applaud you for being able to render such a detailed sketch from a completely original idea in your mind. I on the other hand lack that ability. I'm only able to draw existing things that I see throughout my day.
But, the one thing that kind of distracts is the fact that the ear looks like an Elve's. And about the absence of a mouth. It's intriguing mysterious, but a little creepy for a human character.
Keep on moving your writing utensil though.
