______
The year is 2030, the online role-play gaming world has expanded attracting people from all age groups from all over the world. You can talk with anyone despite language problems because the game will translate what is being said to your own language. Your avatar can resemble you and with a few modifications, you can get rid of blemishes, scars, etc. Or alternatively you can add them on. In the more advanced games, you can even change the structure of your face/body to your preference.
Our role-play will take place in one of the most advanced of these games, so much so that your mind will take control of your avatar, you will see what it sees, feel what it feels with no exception to pain. The setting will be that of your stereotypical MMORPG. think 'Hyrule' in 'Legend of Zelda'. There is quests, monsters to defeat, guilds to join, maybe even prospects of love. The masses rushed to play this game, however there was a defect in the game, one that would trap the souls of some in the kingdom. The kingdom of Xepit. (pronounced 'zep-it')
This is where our characters come in, through some form of misfortune they are stuck in the game, they can't log out and their bodies in the real world are like vegetables. Together, they will try to find a way to escape from Xepit.

Job descriptions
Spoiler
Blade master- A blade master mainly fights with pure brute-force. They have skills that can weaken enemies or strengthen themselves while still attacking. They can also sacrifice defense or HP for even more brutal attacks.
Qualifications needed- To be eligible for this job you must bring 20 boar tusks to the town hall. These are acquired by killing boars. They are found in cannon woods.
Commoner- Commoners mainly manufacture items. The combat ability of a Commoner isn't strong, but can be combined with other job skills effectively. As a Commoner, you'll only have a few job skills.
Everyone starts off as a commoner and you can only get a job once you get to level 10. (Our characters will start about level 8-13.)
Dancer- A Dancer is good at attacking and weakening multiple enemies. A Dancer has little defense, but when protected by a team, Dancer can unleash great powers.
Qualifications needed- You will need to get 20 down. This is acquired by looking after chickens, picking up 40 feathers and going to the refiners to turn it into 20 down. You then must go to the town hall.
Doctor- Doctors can strengthen, heal and revive players, which make them a core member for parties. While they are not limited to rely on others to level, their lack of offensive skills can handicap them from soloing efficiently.
Qualifications needed- You must bring 20 mushrooms from cannon woods (it won't be that easy as this is the wolves territory and you are sure to be attacked while getting them) to the town hall.
Fencers- Fencers are fighters with both magical and physical attack powers. They are adept at imbuing attacks with different elemental powers and incapacitating enemies
Qualifications needed- You must bring 20 wolf fangs to the town hall, wolves are found in cannon woods.
Hunter- An expert in using bows and arrows, a Hunter has the longest attack range of all the jobs. In open areas, a skillful Hunter can avoid being damaged by enemies. Even though a Hunter fights over long-range and suffers less damage to equipped armor, they spend a lot of money on arrows.
Qualifications needed- You must follow the tracks of the wolf boss to the temple entrance deep into the cemetery, this will not be easy to get to as you will encounter zombies on the way, (you would need to be around level 17 to easily defeat a zombie so you will have to evade them.) The head hunter will meet you at the temple.
Merchant- A Merchant supports others by manufacturing goods, and can attack well if they have enough money to spend. For a Merchant, the greater their capital, the greater their power. They spend money when they attack using magic and can effectively heal too, if they spend money.
Qualifications needed- You must give 10,000 gold to the chief merchant.
Musician- A Musician plays songs that can increase the MP Recovery, attack power, accuracy, and evasion of team members. They are not good soloists as their defence isn't all that good. Musicians are a good team player.
Qualifications needed- You must go around Xepit's capital 'Ragus', talking to the children NPCs. They will tell you the popular tunes of the kingdom, once you retrieve this, go to the town hall.
Shaman- A Shaman uses magic that mainly employs the elemental powers, and is adept at using fast weakening skills, elemental magic, and attacking enemies from a distance. A Shaman can make good use of their knowledge of the principles of the five elements to cause greater damage to enemies with elemental attributes. i.e. fire>wind>electricity>water>fire...
Qualifications needed- You must go visit the 4 element masters, one in Ragus, one in cannon woods, one at the temple entrance and one at the top of Eltab mountain. (Eltab mountain is to be found 3 regions south of Ragus.
Thief-"A Thief has the best evasion of any job, and the ability to steal of Thief makes it possible to obtain rare items and alchemy recipes from monsters. A Thief cannot inflict massive damage, but a dagger is a quick weapon which, when combined with lightning reflexes, stealth, and good MP recovery, makes Thief formidable opponents." Note: Thieves have a bounty on them, the higher their level the higher the bounty.
Qualifications needed- You must steal 20 feathers from a duck. Ducks are found around Nifarap lake beyond cannon woods.
You can always create your character/s so that they already have a job, just make sure then that their level is over 10 but under 13. It would be impossible for anyone to be a high level character immediately as the game is only recently out
If you want to have a different job then PM me with the details and I will decide whether or not to give it the go ahead.

Races
Spoiler
There are 4 different races, each then having the choice of light or dark attributes. This doesn't really help much but a light attributed character would find it more easy to be a doctor and help people whereas a dark attributed character would find it easier to be a thief.
Humans- Great all rounders, as a jack of all trades, this race is suitable for nearly any job. Humans are great at teamwork and can accomplish great things if they must. They are also superior to the other races in Alchemy with the exception of the Ortem. However because they do not exceed in anything they feel to be of matter they often get jealous and feel inferior to the other races.
Elves- I know elves are usually the super duper wise ones but I will be different. Elves are famed for their speed and dexterity. they also tend to be good with all kinds of magic as their stamina is huge! Elves tend to be quite tall. Despite this they are a proud race and will do anything to maintain their pride.
Demons- Demons are strong and adept at elemental magic and and have a superior strength to all the other races. They often have an animal counterpart. They tend to be quite solitary and because of this the other races distrust them and try not to co-operate.
Ortem- Ortem are incredibly wise. They are able to use any type of magic depending on their level. Their stamina is quite low and they tend to think themselves as superior to the others.
Note- You do not have to follow these description completely. Just don't have a human who can run faster than an elf. Or an Ortem who is able to hold a wide range spell for forever.
