Another Manga

Ok... yes. Lots of manga drawings, but what am i to name them? I'm loving the style and can't help but draw draw draw! tell me what you think of these:










I know they're sideways but i can't take the pictures in any other way and my mum says we aren't getting a scanner as long as our old printer lives...

Even I can't draw that good! I like your manga characters, however, I'm sorry I can't name very well. I name most of my characters from colours in Japanese. EG: Shiro = White Kuro = Black Aka = Red Aoi = Blue

Hi Carly!

Wow, your manga is so good. I love them.
So, one little suggestion, please rotate the picture before posting here. It makes it so much more easier to review. If you have Windows Picture Viewer then you can easily rotate. There's a button at the bottom that allows you to do so. Look for it.

Here are my nitpicks:
1. The strand of hair that curves out from the right needs a little more sharpness or you could do off with it. It slightly distracts me.
Good expressions.
I think she's wearing some kind of head covering scarf, if not; then the head looks incomplete.
2.This isn't really my fave. Her face seems to look guy-ish. Her mouth is awkwardly placed. You got the hair and clothes well, but her face is a little messed up.
3.This is quite good. The only complaint I have is the face. Basically it's because you haven't drawn the other eye. At this angle, the eye should be visible and it looks a bit creepy that you haven't drawn it.
4.This is really good. *Thumbs Up* I love your detailing and hair. This is very good.

Hey there iCarly! I'm really starting to become a fan of your manga/anime. One of the pictures looks a little like a character I saw on Bleach, but then again, alot of anime characters look the same. In the first picture, her face looks a little too thin because of the way you made her hair flow. By the way, her hair looks amazing! I can't really see the second picture because it's a little blurry and sideways, but overall it looks pretty darn good. In the third, his face looks a little awkward in the shade and his eyes look kind of creepy. In the last one, her eyes look very pretty. Keep up the good work.

I think in terms of manga (because you're already very talented with it) you should try and strengthen the lines of your work more, make them bolder. That's the only thing I feel a few of these lack. Perhaps be a bit more experimental with the shading too

This is very good. I have to say, I'm not really a fan of manga but I still like these drawings. Of course, my neck is a little sore from leaning sideways so long, but I'll live.

Anyway--a couple things. As lava pointed out, it is fairly easy to rotate pictures on your computer, so in the future it would be nice if you could do that before posting.

Also, is the man missing an eye? I can't tell, lol. Something about the perspective there seems to be off. I'd also try making the lines darker, so as to make these drawings a bit more striking.

That said, I think you definitely have talent.

Hey just a little advice:

I've noticed that you mention you've copied your works on some of your posts in Manga. What I think you should do is get some A3 paper or something of that size and fill it with manga images. Fill it to the brim of them. Then, before you draw, have a good look over your montage and then try making something of your own. I guarantee that it won't just feel better, it'll come out alot better too. Proportions are hard to copy, but easy to create.

Hey!

These are great! How long does it usually take you to draw one? My favorite of these is the third; I can't tell if it's just because I'm craning my neck sideways, or if my eyes are playing games, but the sword looks a little eeny bit crooked, and I'd recommend tweaking that. Also, strengthen your lines! In some spots, they're a little weak.

For the most part, you did a marvelous job. Keep it up. Never fails to amaze me.

I liked every drawing, but at least one or two had a tad bit of shading problems. It's mostly only noticeable in the hair. But, hey, let's be rational, hair is not any easy thing to artificially render. Could you just imagine shading every individual strand to perfection?

Wow, I really like the first one. I seriously did say "Whoa" not kidding you. You draw pretty good! When did you start drawing? I think you are talented, so don't ever stop drawing.

WOW!!!! Those are amazing!! It does seem like there is a lot of hair in the first one. I love the second one best. When I name my drawings/sketches I usually look at them and think of what they look like they should be called. Sometimes I don't name them at all and let people imagine a name for it.
