Myzac, bat wing girl
I hadn't realized Falcon had been away until she came back with the cookbook. I glared at her as she talked to Peresus. She always had to be the center of attention.
I stretched my wings and got up from where I was sitting. Well maybe we could have something besides nachos now. We had a big day ahead of us. Some nutrition would be nice.
It took only ten minutes for Peresus to burn the pancakes. That put everyone in an even worse mood.
"Better than nachos," Raven shrugged. I watched with a mix of admiration and disgust as she started to eat one of them. I guess she didn't mind burned food.
"I'll stick with the nachos," Vires reported.
"Me too," I agreed.
So while a few of us dug into our hundredth bowl of nachos the others ate burned pancakes. And I'm sure we all equally enjoyed them.
After we choked our meals down we began to prepare for our plan.
"Falcon and Myazc, you two go see where they are," Aron told us.
Falcon changed into her bird form and I took to the air after her.
"Here we go," I said. We glanced at each other. It was obvious we were both worried.
