Yeller, I love your art. You are different from anyone on this site. And yes that includes myself.

I love your airbrushed technique. How do you do such a thing?

Anyways...

1. Her face is a bit off. We should see more of her eye, the left side of her nose, and her left eyebrow. And, also, I think you should add more volume to her hair. And I don't know what's on her hand... hmm.

2. Love it, but I can't find much difference between the two sides. I think you should add color and we could see the differences better.

3. So confusing! I don't know what it is. But I like it. I like it because there is so much going on, and I do have to stop and think about it.

4.How did you do this? Behind the bubbles. it looks like a pool. Please let me know your secret. I like its wings. A bunch. This is by far my favorite out of all. Nice job!

I love your work. Keep going with art. I believe it is your calling.

Here I am, Durrie. Saving the day with awesomesauce reviews. Nah, just kidding. But here is my review:
1. This is...stiffly okay. Take into account what Classy said, especially the hair. Hair is very much an important piece of a human drawing. Also, the other things she said. I can't really say anything about this she hasn't mentioned.
2. This is nice...but I don't really see the differences. Maybe make it darker, add sharper lines on one side, or something of that sort.
3. Okay, so I had no idea what this is. And usually, I wouldn't mind. But...this time it just didn't appeal to me. D:
4. I like the pretty colors you have here, the airbrushed look, and the wings. It has to be my favorite out of the bunch here.

Hiya Durrie!

Awesome pictures. They're good.
1. You've drawn her well, but I can't, for anything, figure out what's in her hand. And whether she's sort of biting her nail in anticipation. If she is, then her eyes don't match it. Also; you need to work on proportions. The hand and the right half of the face is good, but (yes, the but! XD) the left side(after her nose) is out of proportion. And take Classy's advice about the hair.

2.I like the subtle differences. You're good at these things. *Thumbs up* But I think it'd be better if you didn't mix up the hands' dark and light. Also, this is a personal thought : The writing could be more cursive and higher.
The blade isn't sharp. Try using a ruler if you're shaky.


3.This is confusing. I'm not sure about it.

4.This is good. I think it's do the bubbles justice if they're more spherical; add a light glint to it, make it rounder. (They, after all, take the minimum surface area shape.)
The water around the bubbles is a little patchy. Try using a soft round brush with a lower opacity.

Okay, so this is one of my bizzare creatures. When you're canning the size of his fingers in realation to the wing bones remember that bird bones are light as. I drew them with that in mind.

Ok, there's so much that I don't know where to start! Lets try this:

Picture #1: I love how you mixed the colors for her hair. She looks like an actual red head, not some one with dye all in their hair! I love the red around her eye, and the deep color of the lips. Her hand seems kind of swollen, but you did really good with it (way better than what I would have done)! What is in her hand? Maybe define it a little better?

Picture #2: I just love the font you used, and light/dark shading contrast. This mystical creature looks amazing, even though I have no idea what it is. The detail on the left wing is great, but the bottom wing (thing?) on the right looks like it could use just a little bit of shade, and the right side of the sword looks a little too rounded.

Picture #3: This picture is one of my favorites, because when someone draws in ink, I just love it! I like how the hands are reaching up, but to what? Maybe add in some shade and fingernails to them to make them look more realistic. I've always found that by making hands look real, it sort of adds a cool look to them, some times almost creepy, which I think would go well with this one.

Picture #4: Try adding some slightly puckered lips. Other than that, I think this one is very unique and pretty the way it is!

Picture #5: Because of the beautiful colors, I think this one is my favorite! Maybe define the horse's muzzle a little better with some shading. Did you use pastels? It looks so nice and soft!

Picture #6: More defined features, less scribbles! The scribbles are a handy way to add quick shades, but it takes away from the picture. And I want to see that Dackoda thing with more descriptive features.

Picture #7: Love it! Maybe darken up his/her left shoulder just a little bit to distinguish it from the wing(?), but I love the dark shades. The face is amazing too! I love the mystery you added my only showing half of it.

And I have no comment for the last one... Not really sure what to say.

I love the originality of some of these and the only nitpick I can really offer is some of them don't have the strength in the lines. Without that line strength I struggle to define any features and features are really the things important to realisitic illustration, even in a fantasy genre.
I think if you toned up your lines and focused on heavy shading features you could achieve the 'dark' imagery that surrounds many fantasy genres such as Final Fantasy IX. Be sharper on the lines and heavier on the shading and we'd see some huge improvement.

Okay, I plan on doing one of my extremely long art reviews after this, but right now I just want to say that The last one you drew of the creature with the wings and catnessness reminds me of the cloud cats in Kenneth Oppel's story Airborn.
