Doodles <3

I'm clueless but i know these are korean cartoons. are they anime? I drew them today and that's how i would like to start drawing...
also, tell me what you think of these!!!

They are definitely anime-ish.

But I always thought anime was the show. Manga would be the books. I was never quite sure that 'anime' was a type of sketching/drawing. Maybe it is, but it is your own drawings. If you wanted to call them ICARLY-ish drawings, I'd be fine with it!

1. I wish I could see this one better. It looks beautiful; you just seemed to put a bunch more detail in this than the other ones. I am just sat they are over two pages, and that there is a book crease in the middle. Whenever I feel in the mood to draw, I always draw on plain printer paper (I use special recycled stuff, though, that most people don't have) so that way I can be sure I won't have to tear from my books. I use my books as more of a sketching place. Like where I come up with ideas for better pieces of work. But that may just be me, just a friendly tip to a fellow artist.

3.I really like this one. Her facial expression and the shading of the hair just pull everything together. Nice job.

4. So cute! The way her body is positioned is just the perfect stance for a drawing. I use that one all the time. I do have to say, though, you did a great job of coloring in the hair, but I feel like you rushed through the stockings. There are white spots between the black coloring and it looks bad. You should touch up on that!

6. Adorable, but very plain. Since it is plain, you should color the background some amazing color that clashes with the drawing. Like metallic pink or yellow, something to make the drawing stand out more.

7. Can you flip it so people can see it better? I think it's cool, and I liked how you branched away from your pinks and blues and went with brown. She looks sort of like a bird, I like it.

8. (see above) And I don't like her eyes too much now that I can see them closer. She looks mad. I think you should make her look tough, but not mad. Also, I think you should try a different hair style. Learn how to do some other than long hair and bangs.

9. Haha, this one's funny. I think you did a really good job on her outfit. Her shirt looks so realistic, and I like how you made the bow fall down like gravity actually exists, instead of making it stand up perfectly.

All around, you are a great artist, keep going!

Ok thanks but I copied them from the Internet. I was searching and found some really beautiful ones and just had to have a go myself, but now I am confident in drawing them free hand in my own way and have their own poses. I will post them later. Thanks for your comments and I coloured in crayon pastel thingys. Lol

i think her legs are cut off in these pictures. :/ i didn't know anime was a cartoon... i thought it was a drawing style. i dunno. i'm calling it anime anyway.

Hmm. These are OK. Not fabulous. I like them without color, maybe because the colored pencil just didn't look right on the computer for me. Anyways, that's all I'm gonna say, pretty much, since I don't know much on this.
You did a good job for a first timer, I'll say, though.

I am just going to say this because I am really jealous of you. In all your drawings, you have nailed the hair. You don't know how long I've been drawing and still can't get the hair right. The shading is just spectacular and realistic.

I say go free hand!

That's how I started. Someone taught me the way to hold a pencil, then I copied some of my favorite drawings, and now I copy nothing. You just need to keep working at it. Don't you dare give up if something doesn't turn out right.

I love these, you've shown a real talent in this style of illustration. What I would say for your doodles though, is keep them black and white. You're excellent at introducing features and it's clear in the hair and facial expressions, however I think your colour brings it down. I'd suggest strengthening up the lines and then going over the features with a pencil, then use a black-inked brush pen to outline your doodles before colouring them in very vivid block colours using coloured ink brush pens or, if you don't have these, felt tips do a good job too. I just feel you need to enhance the cartoony feel to your drawings and bring out your strength in illustration which lies behind your character's features.

I really don't know who they are. I just typed in mangaa cartoons and anime.

Haha! Oh well. But these are good. Miku-miku (the one in the first picture) is sooo cute~ :3

I really liked them, maybe you could colour them in a bit neater (?) Or was that what you were intending to do? Anyway, I really like your style, they just look sso cute! Maybe you could go over your collouring in again, just to get it to its best standard. Anyway, it's really great, keep it up!
