Nostalgia

In an age when hip-hop artists and remixes are running chaos, something that really sticks on is the ' Old is Gold ' classics. For instance, ABBA's Dancing Queen(I wonder how many have heard of it, leave alone listened to it) is a nostalgic classic. The song is about a seventeen-year old girl who has captured the singer's heart with her dancing.
Nostalgia is something which appeals to all of us. We are reminded of past happy events of our life.

I don't go so much for pop stuff as like AC/DC..

I won't even listen to the radio anymore (like my friend says, you can't spell crap without rap...). Not that it's all bad, but about 99.5% of it is.

I am personally a great fan of ABBA's classics and Dancing Queen has made a great impression on my mind as well. Nostalgia does appeal to me. It makes me cry. I love to cry.

Guest, I don't know whether you are ever going to read this, but Dancing Queen is not a song that makes us cry. The beauty of it is that it does not. And yet, it is a widely touching song.

I'm going to the move this to the lounge. Even though it discusses lyrics, the lyrics forum is more for people that are writing songs, not discussing them. Besides, this will get more coverage in the lounge.

psh....id rather listen to Dancing Queen than fifty or eminem. yeah, I hate rap and hip hop. Trance and techno...allll the waay for me
