Kaladore raised his head to Tristan's question, "No, but that young Dragon seems to be involved some how. I don't really know why people can't just mind their own business." Kaladore stood up, "I'll take first watch, I can't sleep any way."

He started to walk towards the end of the camp when Tristan stopped him, "What's going on? We haven't known each other for too long, but if you can't sleep than there is definitely something wrong, right? What are you thinking?"

"I'm no nature feeling freak, but I can read people pretty well and those two empathy users are worried about that dragon. I don't know where it came from, but I don't think those dragon's are moving out of there own free will. Something big is coming, something big," stated Kaladore

"I was thinking something along the same line, but you think the dragons are being forced out?" Asked Tristan.

"Other than those coastal dragons, none of them want anything to do with us. We need to finish this mission and get back as soon as possible. And maybe keeping that dragon near by isn't such a bad thing. If the organization can track down it's obviously missing parents we may learn some valuable information," explained Kaladore.

"Wow, didn't think you were the kind to put such though into things," smirked Tristan.

"I have plenty of free time," joked Kaladore. Tristan tapped his shoulder and Kaladore nodded. "If nothing more," said Kaladore, "I'll fight for you guys. You make things interesting if nothing more." He glanced back at Lila, smiled slightly, then moved to take watch.

I termed it like that, because magic caused him to loose his energy. He could wake up any moment he wants to.

Lila,

Tristan called out to me.

"Come on, let's go and find the others. And Kaladore." Kaladore turned to look at him. "No sleeping."

I picked up my sword and its sheath and attached them to my belt. I turned to Tristan and nodded. We set off at a brisk walk away from camp. I looked back over my shoulder to Kaladore who winked and sat down at the base of the tree again.

We were soon a fair distance away and I heard a cry of "MATES" I looked across at Tristan and he seemed to have heard it as well. I ran towards the noise to find Sam face down on the ground lying across what looked like one of the new witchers, Tobi I think he was called. Tristan went up to Sam an crouched down next to her.

"Sam, what's wrong?" He asked.

"Nothing, I just tripped over Tobi here, I think he overstretched his use of magic" I stepped forward,

"I should be able to wake him up..."

"Lila what?..." I silenced him with a look. I hovered my hands over Tobi's sleeping figure. They glowed green and Tobi slowly woke up. I felt slightly more tired but that didn't really matter.

"What did you do?" Tristan asked.

"I gave him some of my energy, it's one of the things that healers can do, with a bit of practice." I smiled as Tobi sat up. He stared around groggily and laughed as he remebered what he he had been doing before he collapsed. A few seconds later the others came running out of the trees behind us, also responding to Sam's initial cry of "Mate".

Tobias

The laugh was bitter, but honest. How idiotic, Tobi thought to himself. He nodded his appreciatation at Lila and then rolled his shoulders. They cracked. He got up and stretched, looking somewhat liking a waking cat.

Tobi ruffled his hair to rid himself of the few pieces of dry grass in it and then looked to the others, he was still grinning that awful sweetly acidic grin as he pointed at the small notches his daggers had left in the tree.

The notches still there were subsequently in the same shape as his symbol. Lila rolled her eyes, "You mean to say I used my energy to wake you up, because you wasted it all in making a carving?"

Tobi licked his right incisor and his eyes narrowed, "No, I wasted the majority of my energy trying to catch up to you guys!" there was heavy silence as the guilt settled in and then his grin widened, "However, I used the rest to make my carving, yes."

He strode up to the tree with the markings in it and leant on it with pleasure, "Gives it that familiar feeling if you know what I mean."

Lila,

Tristan sighed. "At least we have found everyone now." he said. I nodded.

"Lets head back," I suggested. We made our way back to the camp Tristan leading and me and Tobi bringing up the rear.

"You know, your a fine little healer." He commented. I blushed,

"Thanks..." I muttered. We reached the camp to find that Kaladore had drifted off. I went up to him and kicked him lightly with my boot. He grunted and sighed.

"I did try..." he mumbled. I laughed at him, I took his hand and pulled him up from the floor, we packed up the camp and made to move off.

"Come on" I said to him. We went over to the horses and I thethered my horse to his. He pulled my up behind him and we waited whilst the others saddled up.

Tobias

Tobi frowned and raised an eyebrow, "Does anyone want to ride doubles?"

They all gave him a look. Tobi rolled his eyes and sighed, "I don't want to ride with any of you either, but Star, my horse, is whipped. She's been riding all day with magic forcing her to run faster, I can't possibly ride her. It'd be animal cruelty."

He gave the black mare a soft pat on the face and put his forehead to her cheek, giving everyone a sideways solemn stare, hoping to guilt someone into giving him a ride.

"Sorry that took me so long." She shot a glare at Ren, and he awkwardly smiled back. "We had to settle an issue." Amy walked over to Tristan, "Are you leaving now? And I imagine you want me to follow you?"

"Yes. We could use your help. There seems to be a problem with the dragons, and we can't figure out what it is." Tristan glanced around, maybe trying to decide if the younger dragon was close by?

"Alright, but only because I can feel it. I can feel the dragons close by, and they seem distressed." She looked at the others, readying their horses, "I don't have a horse, but I can still follow. If need be, I will call upon a dragon."

Tristan nodded, "Alright, just stay close and let us know if you see anything."

Tristin~~

"Toby, take my horse. Amy and I'll take point and make sure the road's clear. Sam, I'm placing you and Lila in charge. Send me a signal if anything happens."

We both got rid of all of our heavy equipment and set out, telling the rest of the group to follow after five minutes. It was easy working with her. It always had been, and even after the two years of seperation, it came back quickly. We both had bows out, and we moved lightly, not walking but not running either. Neither of us made any sound as we moved, and if anything came at us, it would die before it knew what had happened. This was how Witchers were supposed to be.

After seeing no sign of anything for two miles we both slowed down, making a notch in a tree so the rest of the group would know not to ride us too close.

As we ran a question had been burning in my throat. She had been outside for almost two years learning magic, and all of the other things she could learn that I couldn't and maybe she had heard something- "Any news about Malkier?"

She turned and shook her head. It wasn't so devastating. There never was any news. No one seemed to know if it was even there any more.

Kaldore took point with Lila, then Sam and the others behind. They were going at a light trot so those on foot would have no problem. After a few minuted the group stopped at a cross road.

"Great," said Sam, "Which way now?"

"I say right!" Said Tobi cheerfully as he started to the right.

Kaladore sighed. Shaking his head he lead his horse to his left.

"Hey, where are you going?" Asked Tobi.

"Look at the mark on that tree," Said Kaladore. The tree had an arrow carved in it. It was pointing to the left.

"I saw that, I was just joking!" Yelled Tobi.

"Shut up already, you're too loud." Kaladore kept riding.

"Man, why are you always so cold?" Asked Tobi.

"I'm not, I just don't like you," said Kaladore without looking back. To Lila, "I can tell you're tired. Go ahead, lay up against my back and get my sleep. I'll stay awake this time, I promise." He smiled at her.

"Thanks," said Lila placing her body against his. Her body was warmer than his, and the warm touch made him blush.

"Hey, why are you being so nice to her?" Asked Tobi running beside the horse.

Kaladore smacked Tobi in the head, "Didn't I tell you to shut it already?"

Tobias

Quick as a flash, Tobi drew his horse next to Kaladore and put his left hand near to Kaladore's neck. The browned haired man looked down and was surprised to find a dagger resting next to his jugular.

Tobi bit the air next to Kaladore's ear and with a manaical grin he whispered quietly, "Never tell me to shut up."

Just as Kaladore prepared something to retaliate Tobi slid away in time for no one to notice anything had occured, even Lila, and pulled his horse to the back. The farm raised boy looked back to glare at him.

Tobi just smiled and waved, then he looked around a little bit to see if anyone was watching and largely mouthed the word, "Never."

Sam~~

"Come on people let's be nice to eachother," Sam laughed trying desperately to lighten the mood, "If you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all!"

Sam pointed for dramatic effect forward and the others followed behind. With the air silent, the elf girl thought to herself for a bit about how Kaladore and Lila seemed really close all the sudden, she let out a silent laugh of approval.

"Let's sing a song," Tobi commented.

"Let's not," Answered Kaladore.

"The wind in the willows!" Tobi took in a breath and yelled/sang out the last verse, "SIGHING LIKE A SOLITARY SOUL ALONE!"

A few birds above cawed and flew away in fear while Lila let out a giggle and Sam heard a muttered "Oh god" from Kaladore. Tobi repeated the verse over and over again, sometimes in low and then switched to high over again.

"Mom!" Kaladore yelled, "Tobi is giving away our position!"

Sam thought that comment might have been directed at her.

"Tobi you understand as our guest in a way you need to respect our values?" Sam caught out of the corner of her eye she saw Tobi give a hesitant nod, "Now shut up before we make you our victim."

Sam smiled sweetly and her original team mates laughed.

*Why does everyone hate Tobi? Besides Tobi is part of the original team. :( *

Tobias

Tobi's eyes glinted with hatred for a second and he whispered into his horse's ear, then closed his eyes. Then suddenly, without any rein directions from Tobi, the horse skidded off and rammed Sam's horse.

Tobi, in the confusion and Sam's horse's rear, had slipped off. When Sam finally calmed her horse down and looked to blame the horse's rider, but Tobi was already sitting on Star. He patted her lovingly and grinned visciously up at Sam.

(I feel this still fits)

Kaladore sighed. He drew his Horse back to match Tobi's speed. "I've got a question for you?"

"Shoot."

"Who would win in a fight, the sneak or the brawler?"

"The sneak of course." Suddenly a blade was flying towards Kaladore's face, but he caught the blade.

"And if the brawlers guard was up?"

Tobi thought a moment then smiled, "They'd kill each other."

"I think I'm starting to like you after all," smiled Kaladore handing Tobi his dagger, "But I still find you as annoying as hell."

"And you're still just a lazy party pooper."

The two starred at each other a moment then they clasped hands. "The enemy of my enemy.." started Kaladore.

"Is my friend." finished Tobi. :smt002

Suddenly Kaladore was hit in the back of the head my Lila. Tobi started to laugh, but he was flicked in the nose.

"And so the women shall rain over all!" Laughed Sam. Soon the others joined in for good sport.

Kaladore soon calmed down with a yawn, People worth fighting for? His thought was cut off when Prin pointed, "Look there they are."

(It's going to be a give and take relationship huh Light_Devil :smt002 )

Lila,

I was grudgingly aware of the two boys disscussing nonsense and I brought my hand around to hit Kaladore lightly on the head.

"Watch where you are going" I whispered in his ear. He laughed and then pointed to another tree that had been marked.

"Straight on," he said. I wondered if they had met anything yet. I turned around and patted my horse, she seemed to be coping with her leg quite well now and it was with regret that I realised I could ride her again. I told Kaladore this and he slowed the horses allowing me to dismount. I mounted my horse and he untethered the rein from his. We looked into each others eyes for a moment before we each dropped our gaze. Sam found this hilarious.

"It's like your parting forever" she grinned and then stopped joking when she saw my expression. She said in a lower voice,

"You really like him don't you?" I nodded in response, blushing.

Tobias

Tobi nudged Kaladore playfully on the shoulder, "You're soft on her, aren't you, Kal?"

Kaladore blushed momentarily before clearing his throat loudly and replied, "She's a close friend."

Tobi grinned mischievously, "Oh, yes, of course. Friends with benefits."

Kaladore tried to punch him on the shoulder in an attempt to shut him up.

Tobi slid back a little and dodged with a chuckle, "I'm sure you remember the last time that you did something I didn't like."

Kaladore smiled back and placed his hand on the reins of the horse, "Well, we both wouldn't want to be dead, now would we?"

Tobias nodded with a harsh laugh, "This world would be a horrible place indeed without us both."
