Lila,
I guided my horse out of the gate following the others cautiously my sword sheathed at the side of my body. My hand hovered cautiously over it, I wasn't taking any risks. My keen eyesight picked out the details of the landscape in front of me. It was so beautiful and peaceful, that it was hard to beleive what was happening in Cormathor. Sam voiced my thoughts,
"It's so peaceful out here." I nodded in agreement and kicked my horse lightly sending her trotting forwards. I thought I was going to get on with Sam, she seemed to be the confident girl that I wasn't. But she was quiet at times, when she seemed to be lost in her own little world. I had yet to see her lose her temper, although she could be spiteful at times.
I laughed under my breath at my summary of Sam and I saw Tristan glance at me out of the corner of my eye. I quickly dropped my gaze, pretending to be observing the ground below me and kicked my horse forward breaking the formation slightly. I took a deep breath and pulled her back under control, avoiding Tristans gaze.
