I'd probably have to say ninjas, because they're so much cooler than pirates and I'm not a big fan of ships and sea life; however, in the event that they were going up against Captain Jack Sparrow, I'd definitely vote for Jack.

I'm the first voter for pirates. A ninja sounds like a confining way of life. Much like I am in now.
But a pirate on a ship has the the world to explore.

All ninjas do is kill things. Pirates however are all about being fun-loving, traveling, gun weilding, lone wolves. Pirates do killing in a more manly way, up close and in your face, and at the same time they have fun doing that and other things!
