It's always in the tribulations of frustrating work, that we lose the potential to become something larger than ourselves, but it's in the crowning moment of satisfying success that we grow to create a more melodic, peaceful, and authentic impact on self advancement.

Hey,

Bit short, eh? I must admit when I clicked I was expecting a bit more than a couple of lines. Though of course why say something in 400 words when you can say it 2?

ourselves, but it's

A semi-colon would be more effective here methinks and would break up the next sentence.

larger than ourselves

This to me portrays a falsehood of character. When your advocating an authentic "impact on self advancement". Something different there I think.

It's a pretty boring idea to be honest though, it's been done many times before. Not sure why you posted it (and if I remember correctly, in other fiction? This is more like a quote :?) but hey, always good to share ideas I suppose.

Oh, I just noticed. You might want to review some people's works. It's a rule, and you can't really expect people to review your work without reviewing other peoples. Otherwise nothing would get reviewed!

How can impacts be melodic and peaceful?

What was your goal in writing this? Why is it so short? What does the title mean/have to do with this one sentence? These are just some of the questions I had after reading this. A lot of these questions could have been answered in a little note at the beginning or end of this; if you were experimenting with an unusual and not well-known form, tell us so that your reviewers will know and be able to review you accordingly.

Basically, this is too short to give much of a review on aside from nitpicks at grammar and wording.

I'm afraid this is a medium where your general audience isn't going to know what DCI is. Hence,Kyllorac's comment. But cliche as it may be, it is true. Are you in a corps?
