I'm 15 and a male. I started writing 3 years ago, I'm looking forward to showing you some of my work and reading your comment about it. can someone tell me where i can post a page of a story I've written so all you guys can see? Its a fiction story if that helps.

English is a third language for me so it might not be so good for anyone here that is excellent at English. Thanks for reading.

Hey hey Ahmed, good to see you!

Welcome to YWS! Glad to hear you're eager to show your work and get some feedback, that's great. You can post your stories in the appropriate Literary Forum beneath the Read/Write tab.

And it's okay if you're not so good with English - plenty of people here are and we're here to help. Just remember to help those that help you --- the more you give, the more you get back. If you have any questions, just send me a message. No problems.

Cheers

Hi Ahmed! Welcome to YWS!

It's great that you've joined us. YWS is the perfect place to get really helpful feedback on any type of writing. If you want to post your story, go to the Read/Write tab on the black toolbar, and lick Submit Your Work. From there, just choose the genre you think it should go in (romantic fiction, fantasy fiction, other fiction ...) and voila!

So, ready for some questions? What genre do you like to write? What books do you like to read? What's your favourite word? Who do you look up to? What inspires you to write? Do you ever try your hand at poetry? What kind of chocolate do you like?

Hope to see you around! PM me if you need anything, ok?

~Amy

Awesome. Penultimate is a nice word, at least the sound of it is. But it reminds me of the end which is sad, I guess.

Would you like some more questions? :)

Rightio then ...

Do you prefer salt, vinegar or ketchup with your chips? Do you like orange juice? Spots or stripes? Should vampires really sparkle? What are your resolutions for 2010? Silver or gold? How long is 'a while'? How many languages do you speak? What's your lucky number? Do you think that life is good right now?

There you go!

By the way, love the avatar. Specifically the aviators. <3

Lol, rainbows and unicorns? i have been there. YRS is pretty cool, but the reviewers are tough to impress. borntobeawriter just reviewed my story and found every little mistake on it. but it was nice of her to help me.

Questions? do you know how to solve a rubik's cube? have you gotten a 100 on a math test? which do you prefer pinky or index finger? watch or bracelet? pen or pencil? nail polish or perfume? football or tennis? rock or rap music?

Hope you survive answering my questions. :D

Hey Ahmed! I see that Aquamarine has already asked you just about everything :). So, I guess I'm just dropping by to say hi and to say that you should also try storbooks, which is my favorite place :P.

Oh, and I was wondering, what other languages do you speak besides English?

Hi there Ahmed!
I'm JustDance but call me JD.
So you kind of caught my attention. Maybe I'm just lost here and maybe this is just for Amy {AquaMarine} but I noticed you have some questions. Is that for us? o.o
I've never seen a newbie ask us questions so...
Not really, they can be pretty hard and I usually tend to give up on them.
I have gotten a 100% on a math test! =D
I think pinky.
Bracelet...no, watch. Neither really. But bracelet if I had to.
Pen.
Perfume.
Foooootball.
Rap.
I'm pretty sure those questions were for Amy, oh well. xD
As far as the tough reviewers go, you haven't even seen the worse of them yet. People like Kamas, or Galerius can be very tough, but in the end they capture every little nook of your story. Those are the kind of people that make your story and writing become better.
Other reviewers are also great here on YWS! We can be a little direct at times, but all we really want to do is help.
Well, PM me for any questions!
-JD
