Cross Character - Juuji Rensa (MANGA)

A/N: This is the cover for our manga (comic), "Cross". It was named after our company. It may not seem like it, but this comic was created for an advertising project. We are advertising the brand Cross; a pen.
At the right is the main character, Juuji Rensa, on his left is his Resurrection, and above him is Pastel Ink, his trusty side-kick/bestfriend.
If you're thinking about what Resurrection is doing with his hands, he's showing off how he's able to dislocate parts of his body, that is, skeleton, and still be able to make them move.
The reason why Juuji has only one eyeball after he changes into Resurrection is a mystery that you will find out soon... if I decide to post the other pages here in YWS, edited and coloured. We'll see.
Below is the edited scan. I will post the original version soon. Hope I didn't get too rusty. I haven't been drawing for so long. Oh well.

Notes:

What Juuji is holding on to: A whip of thorns. Catchy, ain't it?
The logo on Juuji's jacket: It's Saber Dokuro, the league he belongs to. He's a basketball player by day, villian stalker by night. The arms are a skull with an eyepatch and a saber striking through it; a rose blooming behind, signifying blood. Saber Dokuro roughly means "Saber Skull".
Juuji and Resurrection: The gloves, black and white. The chains on their belts, thick and thin. If you noticed, there is a skull on Juuji's chain and a human head on Resurrection's. Put simply, they're in contrast with each other. All bones; flesh and blood.

PS: There is a diamond ring hanging on one of Resurrection's ribs... please zoom in if you want to see. My computer is being a ----- and it would not clear up the picture properly.


Where the rest of Ink's body is: It's behind the two lads.

I have no idea who these characters are, but I really love this. As a fellow artist speaking, this is amazing! haha


The boy on the left.
You drew him perfectly. From his head to his toes. There is not one awkward thing about him!

The Girl at the top, well, I have to say differently. Her head is a funny shape. Her right eye, though very manga-like, is too angular. It looks more like a triangle than an eye. And her left hand... the fingers look webbed or something... Her hair is pretty though!

And the boy on the right, well, he is just cool looking. I don't know if you made him up (probably not because I think this is fan art) or not, but he is so.. cool! haha, he reminds me of Jack Skellington...

Good job, keep drawing.

Hi, Shhuuugar,

This is good! I'm no expert at anime or anything, so I can't do a good critique. But it looks like Manga to me, so I like it! Hehe.

Anyway, I think you should ink in the lines; for now, they're a little light and I got a little eye-warped looking at this because the back of the coat kind of blends into the bone... and yeah, maybe add some shading. It's a wonderful sketch, though. I applaud you on being good at drawing; I'm hopeless at it.

June
