Iffy was running around with the giant samurai sword, randomly attacking trees and generally screaming in delight. The other kids were gathered around there stuff but I wasn't in the mood to socialize. We had a pretty good alliance right here. Me, Iffy, Logan and Archie. That's fine. I started rummaging through my bag when suddenly a girl my age, take or give a year went

"Hi, I'm Venus, you?"

"Oh, I'm Annabelle but you can call me Anna", I replied.

"You got a clue where we are?", she asked with a slight smile on her face.

"Not an idea, whats your letter say?", I asked.

"Oh apparently, I can put Lumans to sleep...what in the world is a Luman?", she asked.

"I don't know, what weapon do you have?", I asked while shrugging.

"Oh a", she replied while scanning the short letter," a Bola"

Suddenly, Iffy appeared in the meadow and enraged look on her face.

"MR. SQUIRREL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", she shrieked.

A/N: to loveless-With iffy's power she can also tell when the animals she talked to are in pain

Archway~

Iffy squealed at the top of her lungs, I blinked in horror. Grabbing at the survival knife I ran towards her Annabelle following after me. I stopped to see her on her knees next to a pool of blood.
"What's wrong?" Annabelle asked rushing forward towards Iffy. Iffy touched at the blood soak ground pulling her hand back to reveal the blood.
"Mr. Squirrel's blood" she sobbed tears falling down her cheeks. Her shoudlers were shaking her features looked like she was going through a heap of pain.
"Where's the body?" I ran past them searching for any sign's of where the body could've landed.
Iffy began to shake, her cheeks turning red as her sob's began to grow in to shrieks. Her samuri sword lay strewn next to a tree wedged in to one of the roots protuding from the ground.
"Who could've done this" Annabelle muttered, she placed her arm around Iffy shaking her a bit trying to comfort her.
I looked up into the clouds, the white was starting to change in a dark grey.
"Let's find him and...give him a proper burial before the rain comes" I muttered
Annabelle and Iffy stared into the sky watching as clouds rolled by. Logan was suddenly next to us his cheeks red.
"Something...is...happening at the camp" he panted pointing back in the direction he had came.
"What?" Annabelle was suddenly to her feet her eye widened
"Can't explain...no time!" shouting he began to run. Iffy was on her feet running towards her sword. Annabelle pulled her bow off of her shoulder rolling her wrist. Jumping into a run I followed after logan my hair whipping agaisnt my back. Holding up the survival knife, I could see Annabelle and Iffy charging after me.

*My gosh! I didn't even know this had started! Better pop myself in, shall I? :P*

Mirus

Unfortunately, unlike the others, Mirus had rolled into a small ditch to the side of the grass field while unconscious. He regained consciousness, with a moan and a throbbing headache he felt the weight of a bag unceremoniously placed atop his stomach, pressing flat his rather important bodily organs.

Mirus blinked slowly as he claimed sentient thought back, pushed the bag off his stomach with a large "oomph" and sat up while rubbing the muck from his emerald green eyes. He gazed up from the ditch he was in. A grin appeared on his face as he saw the others, but then he frowned as he realised the expressions on their faces weren't exactly happy.

He stood abruptly, letting the bag fall from his body, but catching it with a quick hand movement, and then walked towards the others. Mirus' steps were silent and even though he was walking with a bit of a stagger, the kind consequences of waking up after rolling into a ditch, he still managed to somehow sneak up on one of the people.

He reached a hand up and tapped their shoulder with his finger, "Say, you wouldn't know what's going on, would you?"

*Iffy*

I screamed and turned around to face whatever just touched me.
"Woah, woah, woah," the whispered," What's going on?" I exhalled a breath of relief and put my sword down.
" Hi, I'm Iffy," I smiled.
" Mirus," he whispered looking around.
" Come on Iffy," Logan panted," We've gotta- Who's that?" I opened my mouth to talk but he shushed me with a wave of his hand, " Nevermind. Explain later, run now." I grabbed Mirus and dragged him back to the campsite. Oh, I hope everythings fine...

Last spot is...taken!

Name- Dakota

Age- 14

Weapon- Tranquilizer Dart Gun

SASS Ability- Internal Navigation(I don't want the charm, this is on is actually kinda nice.)

Fears- Water

Physical Description- Short for his age, short blonde hair, pale skin.

Personality- Energetic and fun, but overly cautious about...anything. From making friends, to getting on a boat to, fighting a bear, he makes sure that he's completely ready before making any move.

Anything Random?- Thinking on it now, I think Dakota might be a girl's name, but I do know a guy named Dakota, so I guess it still works. Besides, it's still an awesome name.

Dakota

I woke up under a tree, which was a bit strange, but what was stranger was the thing looking down at me from the tree.

A giant, winged snake. It was probably about the same size as I was, and twice as dangerous. I stood perfectly still. The last thing I'd want to do is die the first time I was in the north forest.

Wait a second...what made me think that this forest was north?

As that thought pierced my head, the snake-thing looked like it sniffed something out and started flying south. It seemed to-

-how did I know that was south?

I was alone, and I knew where I was in a place I've never been. What should I do?

Be best to follow the snake, see what it smelled.

I started jogging. The forest wasn't anything too special, and I didn't see any other life around me. All I'd seen alive was myself and the winged snake.

When I hit the edge of the forest, after only a few seconds of jogging, I saw a giant field, and in the center was some...camp. I don't know, it looked like there was some stuff scattered around, and the winged snake was rummaging around through it. I looked a little further to see that there were some other people. My guess, it's their stuff, and they're pretty freaked out and confused by the giant flying snake too. Who wouldn't be?

I waited for a few seconds. The people across looked like they had weapons, and I had nothing. Something tells me this area here is where I should be.

They have weapons, and there's a flying snake in the camp. Someone's gotta kill that thing, and it's going to have to be one of them.

*Iffy*
As soon as we got into the clearing everyone froze. I could feel Mirus shaking next to me and a terribly girlie sweak made its way from my mouth. There was a giant snake-bird thing going through our stuff. He wasn't alone though. A boy shared the field with him. I tightened my grip on my sword and stepped forward.
" Iffy, what the hell," Abby whispered but stepped forward with me anyway.
"Um, Mr.Snakebird-"
" I'm a Sabrisssssssss." His voice made me shiver.
"Well, Mr.Sabris, I was wondering if you could leave because I don't want to kill you and-" I didn't have time to finish my sentence because Sabris was on top of me and my sword was knocked ten feet away.

"AHH! MR. SABRISS GET OFF ME!" she shrieked.

"NO! Get off her you great brute!", I yelled. I grabbed my bow and arrow and struck the "Sabriss" in the neck. The arrow went right through it's neck and it fell limp immediatly.

"No! Annabelle! You killed him! WHY! First Mr. Squirrel now Mr. Snakething!" Iffy screamed as soon as she pushed it off her. This girl is unbelievable.

"It tried to kill you!!" I yelled. The others were slowly backing away from our fight but Venus and the boy in the field was walked towards the dead Sabriss.

"I guess so....but we still need to have a funeral" she said reluctlentaly. A funeral? For a deformed bird thing that tried to need I say KILL her!

"Fine, hurry though." I said. She walked towards the Sabriss and began to speak in a low mournful voice.

"We never were really friends and I just met you and you tried to kill me but we all will miss you, Mr. Sabriss". I scoffed. The boy who had come in with the Sabriss was eying me with a curious look on his face. He reached down and yanked the arrow out of the Sabriss' neck and wlked to me.

"Here's your arrow, nice aim. What's your name and where the hell are we?", he asked.

Venus

The beautiful animal that slithered through our belongings was now dead, lifeless.
I crouched down next to the peculiar creature. The asian girl was mummbling incoherrent syllables, she was crying.

"This creature is beautiful," I marveled at the winged-snake.
The asian hiccuped a few sobs and looked up at me, "Mr. Sabriss WAS beautiful."

I frowned a bit but then tried smiling sympathetically, "No, don't think of it that way. Mr. Sabriss is only sleeping. He'll continue on sleeping but you know what his last image will be?" My answer was a hiccupped sob.
"You. You and you're amazing ability to talk to animals. He knew he would die someday but atleast he would have the honor of seeing you. All creatures know they'll die someday, except air. Just think about that."

I looked directly into her eyes. She let out a small gasp. Most people get stunned with my electric grren eyes. "I'm Venus. You?"

"You mean like the planet Venus?" The girl patted the snakebird.
I rolled my eyes, "Yeah. Just like planet Venus."

"Oh," she stood up, "I'm Iffy."

*so when do we go into the jungle?*
I follow four rules when writing
1. Don't think. Just write.
2.Never take the pencil from the page when writing
3.Don't erase. Even if what you wrote didn't make sense
4.No need for grammar, punctuation, or spelling when writing

And when your done writing you stop and break all the rules

"We don't go into the jungle" I said defiantly.

"Who died and made you leader?" Venus exclaimed.

"No one... It's just safer here" I replied.

"Well, *maybe* me and Iffy dont want to be in the field with a murderer!" Venus yelled.

"It was going to KILL her!!" I screamed

"Maybe we rather go search for food, water and shelter and MAYBE some answers, than sit here and do nothing!" Venus yelled.

"Whoever wants to sit here, starve and wait for something to kill them, have fun. Whoever wants a warm place to sleep, a full belly and the reason why we're here to begin with come with us!", Venus yelled. She and Iffy retreated to the forest with almost everyone but Logan, Archie and a couple others.

"So, what do we do now?"
