Hey i pretty much listened to what everyone had to say on the last chapters and then edited this one. Thanks for reading hope you enjoy:)

DECISIONS, DECISIONS.
Max was back in that same room that he remembered from the last time he had travelled in that strange, slightly scary way. He took a while to catch his breath back.
“Hi,” he finally said to Tahvo.
“What happened, you certainly made that hard”, accused Tahvo who looked like he glared at Max.
“I’m sorry”, said Max taken back by Tahvo’s unusual harsh tone.
“I lost the stopwatch-
“What! Do you know how important that was? And I need it back… they don’t come cheap. I thought I made it clear! You can’t just go disappearing in front of people. How could you lose it? Ms Ryan is going to kill me.” He kept on muttering under his breath but Max couldn’t hear him.
“I’m sorry. But I couldn’t help it”, said Max lamely.
“What do you mean you couldn’t help it!? You could’ve just been more careful that would’ve helped.”
Max waited for his anger to die and waited for Tahvo to speak.
“Now have you decided?” asked Tahvo.
“No but-“
“Well goodbye then”, he said and tried to steer Max towards the door.
“No wait!” said Max, alarmed.
“I just need to ask you some questions about it, I’ve been thinking and I think I want to come I just don’t know enough about It.” protested Max.
“Okay”, Tahvo breathed in and breathed out and then continued. “What do you want to know?”
“Well”- just then a woman with neat red hair and click clocky black heels walked in.
“Hello,” said Tahvo politely.
The woman smiled.
“Max is it?” she asked.
“Yeah,” said Max perplexed at how everybody knew his name.
“This is Ms. Ryan”, said Tahvo giving Max a significant look.
“Oh”, said Max awkwardly, knowing he was in trouble for losing the stopwatch.
Tahvo shot another important glance and Max said “Nice to meet you Ms. Ryan”.
When she asked if everything was alright Tahvo told her about what had happened with the stopwatch. Max noticed that she didn’t react anywhere near as violent as Tahvo had predicted.
Her amber coloured eyes stared into Max and after a few second Max averted his eyes to the floor. She asked how he had lost the stopwatch. Max replied with the simplest answer, the truth.
“I lost it while I was travelling back home, through that, black hole thing.” He said. “I’m sorry.”
“Ah yes”, she said you had trouble travelling, didn’t you?” she said kindly.
The atmosphere had suddenly become much warmer.
Max nodded.
“Don’t worry”, she said.
After Max asked her some questions about the school he had his mind set. He was excited about going, but also afraid. He had many worries like What if I don’t fit in? What if they forgot to tell me something? And that was only some of it, Max had to tell his parents yet. As he walked back to the house he decided that he’d lie and tell them he was going to a normal boarding school. He was so worried about confessing that he didn’t even consider the fact that they might say no.
He handed his parents the pamphlet and avoided eye contact. His Dad read it first and Max waited anxiously for the reaction. ‘This can’t be good’, thought Max as his Dad gave his Mum a meaningful look. His Mum’s reaction was slightly better. She looked at him and smiled. Max hadn’t actually said anything yet.
“So you want to go to this school”, she asked.
Max nodded.
“You haven’t even spoken to us about it”, said his Dad.
“That’s what he’s doing, John”, said Max’s Mum defensively.
“So tell us all about it”, she asked.
‘Oh oh,’ thought Max.
“Well, I, um they gave me the pamphlet and I looked at it and I gave it a chance. And I thought it looked good, you know. I’m not fully enjoying Vilydale high.”
“Is there a cost?”
Max froze. How stupid of him to not ask that.
“It’s just the basic school fees”, he guessed.
“Can we have a tour of some sort,” asked his mother.
“Um, no they, they don’t do them. I was just gonna go and see what its like and if I liked it I would stay.”
‘This is going to be harder than I thought’, said Max in his head. He considered telling them the truth but decided not to yet.
“It’s a boarding school”, she said, this time tears in her eyes.
Max had never even thought about the fact that he had to leave home.
“Yeah”, he said sadly.
There was much discussion about it over the next few days but in the end they agreed to let him go.

Rachel! Hello! June here, let's see what we can do about this. :)

This, for the most part, is pretty good because I can see the story coming along nicely in this. The only problems in this are small, minimal things, such as mis-punctuation, deadwood -- as in words that are unnecessary -- and a few things in your description. Let's have a closer look:

> Punctuation

“I lost the stopwatch-

“What! Do you know how important that was? And I need it back… they don’t come cheap. I thought I made it clear! You can’t just go disappearing in front of people. How could you lose it? Ms Ryan is going to kill me.” He kept on muttering under his breath but Max couldn’t hear him.

Remember to close dialogue tags! After stopwatch you need two hyphens (--) to make a dash, as a dash is two. Whenever you open a dialogue tag, be sure to close it, dear.

Also, skim this for other errors like:

“Ah yes”, she said you had trouble travelling, didn’t you?” she said kindly.

She said is repetitive. ;) You literally repeat twice in the same sentence.

Run a rested eye over this when you get a chance to spot any punctuation, or lack thereof, in the wrong places.

> Description

You actually do a good job here with description. There's just enough, not too much, not too little. I'm on to the way you describe, though. I think you should variate it a little, be more precise and try not to use the same word too many times over.

On the whole, I like this. Your writing is easy to read, with just a few very minor errors throughout. Two thumbs up, and keep writing. You have a lot of potential.
