Did you take this photo in the name of art or did it just happen? I'm no art critic by any means, by the way, I just saw the title and decided to come by.
First and foremost, I think you should make the photo bigger. It would be nice to see for example the pattern of the shoes without having to squint and making my face collide with the screen. Also, I'd like to see what kind of paper the paper is – is it something torn from a notebook, or something fancier?
I like the position of the shoes. They look pretty, with the laces open and whatnot. I was wondering about the setting – which one is more important in the picture, the shoes or the paper? To me, it's the shoes, but then again, without the paper I guess it would just be a nice picture of someone's shoes.
I'd like to know if all the little details are planned – does it mean something that the laces are not tied, does it mean something that the paper is placed to the right, slightly under the shoes? Does it mean something that the shoes touch? I hope this is all carefully planned, and I sense myself going into the over-analyser mode, so please forgive me for anything.
Photograph-wise, I think the image is a bit blurry, but it might be just the tiny size.
Ha, I never would've thought I'd get this much out of a single photo. Maybe I need to try to review art more often.

Niiice photo. I do agree with Demeter that it is a bit blurry and that it could've been larger. But I love it anyway! It looks like the shoes are in love in that position. Almost in a snuggish, warm way. 'The I heart You' note just made it more adorable.

The photo has an interesting concept and it's nice that you are trying to be creative and trying to experiment with things, so that is good keep that up. I would agree that the image needs to be larger however because at this size I think we are missing a bit of the detail on the shoes and the pattern which is there. I think this might add to the photograph somewhat. The colours appear to be slightly washed out and has this sort of greyness to it which doesn't make the colours punch out enough. I think it would be good if the colours from the shoes and from the note would punch out a little more, perhaps now that you have taken this shot you can fiddle with it in a photo editing piece of software and try to level out the colours and make the brighter colours come through more.
Also it feels like this photo was slightly rushed, I think you probably should have taken more time to place the shoes and consider how they were going to look in the frame and I think that the way the piece of paper is, is a touch messy. It would be better if the paper was more precisely placed. Perhaps I lower angle might have worked better too so that there was more attention on the piece of paper with the shoes behind or something like that.
So I would say that next time you take a photo just try and consider it a little more and take time with it and then I think you could get some really good shots.

Yes, I think you need to try and make your photos bigger so their easier for people to review. So anyway, I see you have some very thorough reviews already but I'll block those out of my mind and give you my own personal take on your photo!
I agree, cute picture but there's nothing to this that really catches my eye I'm afraid. I think you should try and experiment with different backgrounds in order to make the overall photo more interesting. You could also play around with the setting a little bit more.
Nice shoes! But the photo isn't very sharp and it's hard to see all the designs on the side (which would be a nice touch), so that could be something you can work to improve next time. The colours here seem a bit faded, so I would suggest editing the photo in order to brighten up the colour a little bit?
I'm interested to know why you have place the 'I love you' sign next to a pair of shoes, any reason in particular? Or am I reading too much into this?
Did I mention I liked your shoes? Anyway, cute little picture you've taken here and keep taking more!
PM me with any questions or if you want me to review anything else
