I'm new to this writing thing and recently started writing a fantasy novel; I do a little bit of poetry as well. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you.
Hey Rebel! (Yes, I'm going to call you that.) Hello and welcome to the fantastically brilliant YWS! You can call me Stella or, well, anything you like, when it comes to names I'm really not fussy.
A fantasy novel, eh? Whatever I write, it's generally sort of fantasy, but I never finish anything. Poetry, however, is so not my scene. Just... don't talk to me about poetry, alright, and we'll be great friends .
As far as YWS is concerned, we like you as long as you act like a human being, you know, no chatspeak, be nice to other people, that sort of stuff. Oh, and review. We dislike those who don't review (and attack them with wet sponges...)
So, you? Where do you live? (Country-wise, I mean, or state-wise if you're American). I'm from Ireland, and there are people from all over the world here. And your novel, what's it about? Do you have any other weird and wonderful interests? Your favourite type of cheese? Favourite authors and poets?
Anyway, if you need anything, press that PM button below where it says how many points I have etc. and ask me! Or, alternatively, those people with the turquoise-blue names? They're Greeters, and they'll help people like yourself out if you're stuck...
So, see you around!

Yay, post it soon, we'd love to read it . I'm one of those turquoise-blue people Stella told you about. I'm a greeter. She's a Junior Moderator, if you were wondering why she's green, she would be a great help too if you had questions. It's awesome to see you're from the states; I'm from Tennessee. So now for some questions, since I know new members just love to answer a million questions .
What's your favorite fish? Do you like snow? (I wish I had some snow) If you have snow would you mind if I stole some? What's your favorite holiday? What's your favorite thing you got for Christmas? If you don't celebrate Christmas what's your favorite thing about December?
PM me if you have any questions. Or we could just chat.

The Night World series is by L.J. Smith. The Night World is a secret world where vampires and such live but they are mingled with humans so it's closer than you'd think . They are awesome books if you like vampirey, werewolf, non-Twilight books .

Yes but that's the beauty of The Night World series It came out in 1996 way before Stephenie Meyer had her little dream thing and Twilight was written. What's your favorite vampire/werewolf book besides Twilight?

I would recommend it also, Mira. I have read the Vampire Academy series also. I've never read Dracula amazingly enough. You are very generous, R3b3L, letting us steal so much snow

Ah, yes, Griffin is right. Snoink's evil minions conquer all. Join us, Rebel. You'd be rebelling, quite fitting for your name, eh? I am Mizzle by the way, and welcome to YWS. Tata!

Remember when dad's shoulders were the highest place on earth and your mom was your hero? Race issues were about who ran the fastest, war was only a car game. The most pain you felt was when you skinned your knees, and good byes only meant tomorrow?
