When the Jonas Brothers' song, " When you Look me in the Eyes" came out and became a hit, I just drew this about the same week it hit the charts. At that time, I had no idea who I'd fall in love with. Even now, 'if my heart is always searching will it ever find a home'? Yes, sooner or later. It brings back to many past dreams of mine I still want to fulfill. But hey, I'm still 14...and what a long year of loniless it has been. Oh well- there is always five to ten years from now.

Hello Pacific Sky! A few tips! First, please try to not abuse the smiley faces. They are distracting and they make you seem very unprofessional. Secondly! Before you post your photo, please consider resizing it. It's extremely huge, and I have to use the scrolling options to view the entire picture, which can make things difficult for the reviewer. It's especially bad for me, since I have a netbook where the screen size is only about 10 X 7 inches.
However, once I got down to the actual picture, it was actually pretty good. How did you make this? I'd really like to know. It looks like chalk, but for some reason I get the feeling that that was only the effect you were trying to create. It really looks like a professional drawing.
I do think you could have spent a little bit more time on it, and used a ruler. The lines on your stereo in the background looked ragged and sloppy. In real life, the rows of buttons on a stereo are straight, right? Straight lines make your drawing seem more realistic. I also don't like how you centered the text around the person's head. It makes me feel sort of claustrophobic. There is space on your paper, so use it!

As mentioned before, the quality of your art begins to deteriorate on the neck area and down. The neck seems like a stiff tree trunk, and the body almost resembles that of a dinosaur.
But, it's nothing that can't be improved in your future work.

I love the concept and experimental creativity that vibes off of this and I adore the medians you've used, they only add to the affect and its beautiful.
My main nitpick is with proportions. I think that even with the facial features you need to do a little editing and this comes down to nitty gritty practise. Its easily sorted after a session where you just sit down and copy some facial features, but make sure that if you do this, you go off and draw free-minded. The worst thing you can do is just practise from already existing photography/illustrations. Feature work comes from imagination. Perhaps practise a bit of toning, easily brought about by thorough shading and then levelling it in certain places.
