The Plot:
Oakridge is a relatively peaceful town stuck in the picturesque Montana wilderness. Even though it has a reputation as a "nothing ever happens here" sort of town, there is one exception. Every year, on the second week of October, a group of students disappear from the local high school. It's almost as if they have just vanished into thin air. Only one man knows where they have gone.
This man refers to himself as The Fox. He is an extraordinarily intelligent, yet borderline psychopathic, man who is rarely ever seen in Oakridge. No one knows who he is, no one speaks to him. The Fox is behind the disappearances.
You see, Oakridge is a very boring place. The Fox can't handle boring, but he can't handle leaving Oakridge either. So every year, on the second week of October, he kidnaps a group of students from the local high school and takes them to an hidden, abandoned warehouse not even six miles out of the town.
In this warehouse, The Fox gives his captives an interesting scenario: two weeks to get out alive. The only catch is The Fox will be hunting them the entire time.
The Characters:
All characters are students who attend Oakridge High School and who will be kidnapped by The Fox. None of them are well acquainted with each other, even though they are all in the same grade (12th). Stencils at end of post.
The Fox is sort of based off the hunter in The Most Dangerous Game (can't for the life of me remember the guys name though). He appreciates the hunt, and won't end it early. At the end of two weeks, he'll forget all about the thrill of the hunt and there will be no possibility of further escape. He will not continue hunting students who make it back within view of Oakridge.
The Rules:
1) Obey all YWS rules
2) Only you can kill off your own character
3) I don't want this storybook to be all about death/murder. It should be focused on escaping even with the odds undeniably against them.
4) Keep any romance pg-13
5) No one plays The Fox
6) You can't just escape in the first few posts. This is a story with a plot and immediate escape makes for a terrible story.
7) Post or your character will be killed off. Plain and simple.
