Llama 1:"Shh! Do you hear that? That's the sound of forgiveness." Llama 2:"That's the sound of people drowning, Carl!" Llama 1:"That is what forgiveness sounds like; screaming and then silence."
Atila blinked a few times. She felt the ground around her. Dirt?
"What in the buzzards is going on!" She tried standing up. A girl came to her aid, wrapping an arm around her waist.
"Careful now. You have recently been drugged." Atila rolled her head to the side. Her vision was still a bit blurry. "There's two of you?" Atila still felt a bit woozy.
A boy stood next to the girl. He grimaced, "Twins." Atila rubbed her eyes and suddenly five other people came into view.
"Where am I," she demanded. She pushed the girl aside a bit to hard. "He-" Atila cut her off, "What am I doing here?" Atila then saw the guards.
"Alright! Enough! Those who are coming get you're hands cuffed!" The guards voice clicked something in her brain. No it can't be... I'm not here...
She squirmed to the front. She placed her hands on her hips and stared at the guard, "Mark?" The guard spat on her shoes, "I don't know you and I don't speak to traitors." Atila's jaw set tight, "Mark, I come every Sunday and deliver five sheep, a whole casket of wine, and two loaves of bread." She started counting out the items with her fingers.
The cold cuffs on her wrists shut her up. Another guard pushed her next to a woman who had her hands cuffed as well.
"Anyone else?"
Sorry if there is too many errors I'm in a hurry but I wanted to post.

A guard cuffed him over the head. Linx moaned and rubbed at the tender spot while muttering under his breath, "I'll take that as a yes."
Then the guards, with amazing strength and force, grabbed at the "spies" and pushed them along the dark dank corridoor. The others trailed behind him. The guards' hands resting upon the hilt of his sword like a snake poised - ready to strike. Linx muttered under his breath, "It smells like someone died in here."
A small chuckle escaped one guard's mouth, "Several in fact. We'll add you to the list if you talk anymore."
Linx kept silent for once in his life. The hall was stone and dank like the rest of the prison. Linx found himself so bored that inwardly he counted the amount, in order, of the lefts and rights they made.
Finally they arrived at a door. It was a stone wall door. The kind that slid sideways and revealed the hidden lamp or precious jewel, but in this case as it grinded its way open it made seen a large dome like room lined with the most expensive real gold paint.
Silk and velvet lined the pillows and chairs that were scattered in a sort of horse shoe shape in the middle of the room with one chair facing the others. The air was fresh, clean and with a hint of tangy lemon fragrance.
Linx stumbled in, in amazement and looked around. On the one chair sat someone and as the chair span around on its axis, a collective gasp could be heard from the spies.
A smile was on his face. His blue eyes - kind, soft, compassionate and there was a hint of hidden emotion that no one could entirely categorize and it was possible that it wasn't even visible.
Even his hair seemed perfect; fluffy blonde and curls at just the right place to stay tucked right behind his ear. Everyone instantly knew who he was. It was unanimous.
It was Luke, the Regent of Ciiianthan, in the very flesh and blood.
Everyone reacted differently.

Karana swallowed hard. If she had still been among the mercenaries, she would immediately salute him with sabre drill. Too bad she was cuffed and had a guard firmly holding her arm. She did what she could do; she bowed her head in a reverent nod. "My Lord Luke."
A sharp hand on the back of her head made her groan and stagger. She growled, gritting her teeth in an attempt to stifle her muttered curses. If only my life wasn't on the line...

Linx grinned, "About time! Here I thought we were put in prison for a bad reason. I have to tell you, Luke, you mind if I call you Luke? Luke, well, I have to tell you that your waiting room is like hell."
Several guards tailed in after them, filing in from the same sliding door that they had entered through. It was obvious the labyrinth that they had walked through was more vast than imaginable.
*And, yes, Linx was never the brightest bulb in the box.*
Nyk cocked his head, studying the man through veiled eyes. This man was important, the others acted like he was the One of wolves. More then that though, he radiated a self contained confidence. His mother had been like that, secure in her place in the world, sure of herself.
Flinching inwardly, Nyk bared his throat slightly, a sign of respect among the animals. Then he settled back on his feet, and waited for someone to make the next move with the patience of a hunter.

“Luke? What in the world are you doing here?” Susa exclaimed, blushing. She had always thought Luke very handsome. Simon would have been pleased to see him as well, on a normal day.
On a normal day, Luke was funny and kind, if weary from running the kingdom.
On a normal day, he and his sister would be in class, learning about far off places with strange sounding names.
But this wasn’t a normal day. Instead, today, they had been beat up, captured, thrown into a filthy dungeon, and forced before Regent of Ciiianthan.
Susa, busy trying to straighten her dress and fix her hair, did not bother putting two and two together. Simon, however, didn’t care about his bedraggled appearance. His curious stare suddenly became a scowl. He had figured it out. It was Luke who had suspected them, and Luke who had them chained and beaten.
He had to remember who he was dealing with, though. Luke was the highest authority in all of Ciiianthan. He could have them killed with impunity, Simon realized, and no one could complain.
He bowed his head low to the Regent, so the man wouldn’t be able to see his loathing glare.
“My lord,” Simon said quietly, scowling at his feet. He really loathed the man right now.

I stood tall as the rest of the group exchanged respect with Luke. I had no desire to do such a thing. I had know Luke before he had become regent. For my first mission when he was only a soldier. We had thought on the front line's together against Bethuwasia [Beth-u-way-see-a]. Who had helped him find soldiers to into battle with him when they were scared and ready to give up?. Who had rode into battle with him with only half a battalion against an entire army?, Who had covered his back as we fought to inside the castle and won the war? and who had pulled the arrow from his back and taken him back to medics ten miles away ,most importantly who had accepted when Luke got the gold cross and He did not?. Me! To have Luke accuse me like this was the final step in the web of betrayal. I could feel myself slipping over into complete anger. Calculating thoughts whisked past through my mind. the soldier behind you has a limp in his leg, you could steal his knife and stab him before he knew what was happening, you could kill Luke you'd die afterwards but at least Luke would be dead. I shook the thoughts away I wasn't ready for a suicide mission just yet.
" Hello John how's life?" Luke said standing up and walking over. His steps were slow and cautious years of good life had slowed his reactions while I had been forced out on countless missions.
" Why?" I asked.
"you know, now John were friends, or were I always liked you and so did the king, so I'm offering you a chance be honest with me and I'll grant you a quick death. Hell I'll even give you the honour of dying by my royal blade" Luke said ignoring the rest of the group and looking into my eyes.
"basterd" I said and Luke stepped back viewing the rest of the group again.
With that last word, the guards knocked Jonathan a good one. Shahara shook her head in dibelief. "My lord, might I ask why we're here?"
"Ah, Shahara. Always the mannered one. I always said you were a fine young lady... Until now." Luke was casually pacing before them. "Your father was heartbroken when he heard the news of your deception to us all." For a moment, Shahara let herself think they'd found out her secret life as a fighter, but then she remembered the discussion in the dungeon.
"There has to be some mistake, my lord, I never..." She faltered, the lie on her lips, but luckily Luke was ready to seal the group's fate and be done with them.
Llama 1:"Shh! Do you hear that? That's the sound of forgiveness." Llama 2:"That's the sound of people drowning, Carl!" Llama 1:"That is what forgiveness sounds like; screaming and then silence."
Atila studied Luke. Her eyes followed his every movement. She was easing her wrists out of the cuffs ever so slowly. The cuffs were a bit big. She tried to keep his gaze directed to her face whenever he looked her way.
"You're right, John is it? He is a basterd." Atila got thumped on the head. Atila smirked. I've always been sentenced, never happens. I guess I'm hard to kill. Or either I'm just really good at escaping. Hey! He didn't get offended! Dagnabit! Atila tried to think of other nasty words to say. Luke gazed at each prisoner but his eyes pierced at the chest of the wild boy. (I'm just going to call him that. In a nick name way. Is that okay, slyverdawn?) *continuing*
Luke's smile faltered a moment. Atila couldn't see the boy perfectly from where she was. Luke started to say something.

*Sigh* This is why I can't be away for even a day, people go wild with assumptions. Now, I shall try to correct what I can. - jok101, there are several countries and I think I'll just name one of the other countries the name you made up. - Also, this post should clear things up - anything that made Luke somehow evil will need to be . . . well, you'll see.

Luke smiled, softly, suddenly dismissing whatever he saw, and gestured at the seats, "Would you all please sit. I have something to ask you, or perhaps maybe I should say, ask OF you."
Linx ambled uncouthly towards the chairs and sank into one of them. There were exactly the right number for all of them. The comfortness was well beyond the cold and wet floors of their previous holding cell. He looked to the others to see if they would sit as well.
Some of them sat, some of them continued to stand.
"As I said, I have something to ask of you. But before I do, I would like to say something, something you probably all already suspect or know." He said, his voice soft and serious and yet light and casual.
As he continued he look them each in the eyes, "You have been listed as highly suspicious subjects. Atila, it's been quite spread around that you are a highly skilled thief, someone who is particularly suspicious. Shahara, however diligent you have been studying the amount you have been was suspicious as you also seem to disappear at times. Jonathon, you just seemed like the type of person to be actually able to orchestrate such an event. Linx, well, what sort of a person would trust a slacker? Susa, Simon - you are too well informed and bright to be just mere children and Karana - there have been reports that you are a follower of a known rebel. And last, but not least the jungle man - you are here because your activities in the forest are highly suspicious."
There was honest truth in his voice as well as kindness, "I apologise if this seems like I've captured you all on a whim, like it sounds like I've conversed with the wind and gathered unimportant information about you to warrant your arrest, but I know something that the rest of the Court does not or if they do aren't willing to believe."
Linx and the others, even Jon, found themselves leaning in towards him to know what he was going to say next.
Luke cleared his throat and gave them a worried smile, "You're all innocent."

**Hey, Light_Devil!, maybe if we dicuss some things beforehand in the DT, we can avoid the jump to conclusions. But I like this twist to the story! **
