First of all, make sure you read the first chapter/preface, or this won't make sense. Second, the writing isn't perfect, as I wrote it hurriedly for NaNoWriMo.

Chapter II - Betrayed
"First off I suppose I should ask if you are okay. Xavier didn't hurt you to badly, did he Cela?" The man said. Cela thought the voice was oddly familiar, but decided to think better of it.
"N-no." She stuttered out.
"Good." He replied, "I had hoped not. We wouldn't want you hurt. Now, I suppose you are wondering why it was that we captured you?" Cela said nothing, and taking it as a yes, the man continued. "Well Cela, you see, We," He said, stressing the word, "Have heard that you are part of a resistance, it's called Aradel, I suppose you know what it is that I'm talking about."
Aradel, Cela had heard the word many times over. In the old languages it had literally meant 'Good'. The old language was barely known of, and mostly lost. However a few words had survived time effacing the rest of the old world. Words passed down through generations of people, rich kings and queens, poor peasants, all with some link to the old world. Sadly however, most of the language had been lost during the change.
Cela still did not speak, she was to weak. She placed her arms out and tried weakly to push herself up. She faltered and fell. The man was either oblivious to her attempts, or didn't care, for he made no offer to help her up.
"And I suppose," he continued, "that you will not change, shall we call them sides, and join us?" He questioned, unable to conceal the hatred in his voice.
"Why the hell would I do that?" She said softly, her voice was less shaky.
"You have to understand Cela, we are not the bad guys. We only want what is best for this planet. Most of you humans love war and destruction far to much, you make games of it. You've invented technologies with unlimited power that could destroy this planet with a touch. We couldn't let that be. And here we come, attempting to perfect the world, and then Aradel shows up, and attempts to join everything we've worked for!" He was mad, and exasperated.
"Your peaceful world is impossible if you are always killing off us 'humans'. How does this work if we are constantly at war?" Cela retorted. Her arms were stronger, and she concentrated on pushing herself up as the man rattled on. She was positive that she had hear his voice before.
"Ah," He sighed, "but if it wasn't for Aradel, there would be no war. You don't seem to understand that we only want to help you." Cela was sitting now, her arms hadn't failed her this time. However her legs were barely able to support her weight. Still, she shakily stood up, and turned around to face the man, amazed at the sight before her.
"Terrin?" She mumbled in amazement, her eyes roaming his muscular figure. His brown eyes were there, but no longer were they warm and sparkling. His eyes were now aged and had dark circles surrounding them, he had been through much since Cela had last seen him ten years ago. His red hair was long and matted, with clumps of dirt entangled inside and rough sharp edges that looked as if he had once attempted to cut it with a hunting knife.
"Good job Cela," Terrin said, smiling cruelly, "You figured it out. I was wondering how long it would take you. I thought at first that my voice might give me away, but none the less I suppose I sound much older than I did, and you were only six when I ran off."
"We all thought you were dead." Cela gulped.
"Ah, I suppose so. I thought that you might have caught me eight years ago when I came back to the house and killed her." There was no sorrow in his voice.
Cela was in awe, "You killed Mom?" Terrin smiled again.
"But of course Cela darling, I though you had figured it out. You see, I couldn't stand that awful woman, she always loved you best you know, I bet she didn't even cry when I left."
"Of course she did Terrin, she would cry for hours every night, and she did up to the point when you killed her. She never lost hope that you were alive."
"Cela, I would have gotten you as well, but that awful woman Salenca wouldn't leave your side. So I had to leave my poor sister under the care of a poor woman who couldn't have any children of her own."
Cela didn't even ponder what she was about to say, she acted on impulse.
"You filthy, horrible, cruel, vile, Ass!" She bent down and used all there was of her weight to throw herself into him. It didn't do much as Terrin was strongly muscled, and he had always loved fighting. When he was ten he joined a martial arts class, but got kicked out shortly after earning his purple belt when he was found beating children up on the play ground. However Cela's light weight was enough, as Terrin hadn't been prepared to have his sister come flying at him.
Her force propelled them both backwards into a brick wall, and she was hitting, biting, kicking, pinching, harming any part of her brothers body that she could.
It was then that Xavier walked into the room. He loped into the room and pulled Cela off of his master. He put his arm under her chin and pulled tight, suffocating her. He took know notice to her incessant screaming.
"You little worm, how dare you!" He shouted in her ear. "You hurt my master!"
"Xavier, Xavier listen!" Terrin said, while Cela screamed:
"Please, please don't hurt me!" She cried, hoping that Xavier would take pity on her and leave her be.
"No!" Xavier said, "No, you are going back girl!"
"XAVIER!" Terrin shouted, "Leave her here! You are not to harm the girl, I told you that. Put her down Xavier."
"Yes master." He mumbled, and set Cela down on the stone floor. She felt better without his strong arm crushing her windpipe. Cela stood up, her body trembling.
"I shall escort Cela to her quarters, and leave her in the care of Bryn." Terrin said with disgust.
"NO!" Xavier cried, "No, master you have to trust me, you can't leave the girl with her."
"Xavier, I trust Bryn, she won't hurt the girl." And that was that. Terrin slid his callused hand into Cela's, and led her out the door.
