'Brevity is the soul of wit,' eh? I think you are definitely channeling this. I'm not the best poet here (I despise poetry with a burning passion most days), but I'll try to be intelligent. I get what you are going for in this poem. Is it world changing? Wonderful? No. It's short, sweet, and I get it. If there is anything to get. Conventions are fine, although a AABBCC... rhyming style is kind of rare, at least from my perspective. It works, but it chops up the poem a bit instead of making it a cohesive hole. It sounds better to me as:

Little black book of mine
My darkest secrets will you keep
Cover of smooth leather refined
Lost, forgotten, those pages deep.

Maybe even changing the 2nd and 4th line would be nice. But it's totally to you discretion. The 'shh...' is a little off-putting, though. It seems... out of place. I'd give it a once over.

Overall, this poem is short and sweet. It aims low, achieves, and goes home happy. It doesn't have the emotional impact of your 'Trespassing,' but it doesn't have any of the mistakes, either. It doesn't need to change. Just remember- some things are candy, and some are dinner. Art critics are hungry.

EDIT: Also, you should do at least 2 reviews for each literary work you post. So get reviewing! Don't worry, though. Just do some reviews. Also, you should probably introduce yourself in 'The Welcome Mat'...
Spoiler
I like people thinking that I have something so scandalous to say that I put it in spoiler tags, and I'm sorry that because of this selfish desire you were roped into reading this for not real lasting value.

Hey, this is a really good poem, and I appreciate the fact that you were able to insert such a powerful piece of art in only six lines. It just proves that length doesn't matter in the least. Anyway, let's break apart the nitpicks, shall we?

Black Book

Is this a part of the poem? If it is apart of the poem, I'd add something more. What about the black book?

Little black book of mine

This is better, but I still think you could work on. Perhaps, "Little black book of mine, peacefully sitting on the window sill" or something to that effect.

My darkest secrets will you keep

Dear, 'you will keep' is fine.

I enjoy your ending!
Great Poem. PM me if you have questions.

PLEASE READ MY SIG
=============

My darkest secrets will you keep

I think it's supposed to end with a ? mark. Either that or change it to "...you will keep" :)

It's very nicely written. Short but sweet, as with most poems are.
