YWS Secret Santa (closed)

So, I was thinking, why not do something fun for the holidays? I’m participating in two Secret Santa Gift Exchanges at school and just making presents for a bunch of my friends. And I didn’t want to leave anyone out on YWS!

The point of the YWS Secret Santa is to exchange poems, stories, drawings, pictures, etc. Anything that is creative and fun is welcome! Just post below saying that you are joining in. Post your favorite color, genre, activities, etc. The more we know, the better the gift will be! Entry into the Secret Santa event will stop next Friday, December 11, 2009. Wonderful Sachi will then mix up the names and send a PM to each member participating with the person that you shall be making your gift for! Make sure you don’t tell anybody, and if you do, only talk about it through PM. If you haven't received a name by Monday, December 14, feel free to PM me and bug me about it.

The YWS Secret Santa will take place on December 25, 2009. If you can’t get on Christmas Day, I suppose you could send it to your person when you are able to before the due date with the title of “Do Not Open Until Christmas”.

Now, the object of this is to have fun. If you get someone that you may have a few problems with, keep a smile on your face. These are times of peace and cheer. Enjoy moment of the holidays! I look forward to seeing who will participate! ^-^

~Extra: Erm...I would quite like something happy of course, it being christmas and all I don't tend to like things based in reality, I like having some sort of above normal element. I would be quite happy to get a nice poem or drawing or whatever lol

Favorite activities: Writing! Playing flute and piano, Playing WoW/video games, needlepoint/plastic canvas.
Extra: Whatever I get, I'm printing it out and hanging somewhere in my room. I am a Christian and understand the whole Christmas story thing if one chooses to go that route. Ummm... Yeah.

~Favorite genres: Action/adventure, fantasy, romance, realistic fiction; short stories and poetry.
~Favorite activities: writing, laughing, being with friends, reading, video games, and traveling/vacationing.
~Extra: Most of the time I dislike poetry that rhymes because the writer chooses rhyme over meaning, but if you can do both, that's awesome ^^ I don't like stories that start off with "Jennifer was not an ordinary girl" or "Ashley wants to be normal, but she's not" in the synopsis. I like writing that's fresh and that's more than just words on a page.
