Ok guys, you're moving a little too fast. To even it out, lets all just be in third period for now. Try not to be so hasty. And remember, post everything out of character in the DT please.
"While that's right Evan, I was talking about you sleeping in class," she said.
"But if I can get it right while I sleep, why can't I sleep?" I asked.
The teacher took a breath and was about to launch into a lecture when another kid entered the room. He looked new, and sat in the back row, next to me. He seemed uncaring and pretty laid back. The teacher forgot about me and turned back to the listen.
"Thanks," I whispered.
"Huh?"
"When you came in you saved my ass when you came in late, probably would have given me a weeks worth of detention, I can;t afford it with our meet on Friday," I told him.
"Oh... no problem?" he said, confused. ____________________________

"Well the committee usually takes care of the freshmen during orientation week, we are busy with all the junk. We just got finished, so we now greet the new older kids, like you few. And you actually do get T-shirts.... The bell just rang, I got this period free, so if you want I can show you to your classes."

Llama 1:"Shh! Do you hear that? That's the sound of forgiveness." Llama 2:"That's the sound of people drowning, Carl!" Llama 1:"That is what forgiveness sounds like; screaming and then silence."
Eris winced as the tardy bell rang, her ears buzzing. She turned and walked into Mrs. Dermain's class. She went over to one of the long tables and laid down her stuff, plopping into the chair. She reached into her purse and - alright! she hadn't forgotten her iPod. Her day just got brighter. Popping in the earphones, she cranked up "Six" by All That Remains. She opened her sketchbook and began sketching, a pair of faceless figures starting to waltz across the page.
She felt a tap on her shoulder and looked up as Linsey slid into the chair next to her. "Ok. What the heck is up with all these new kids? Way too many." Linsey commented. She always acted like she didn't care about people, but she loved to be nosy... sometimes. Linsey is Eris' best friend, but she can be really "outspoken" at times. She's never really mean to Eris, just the aggravating people.
Art class was pretty awesome, but bugging people was even more fun, especially messing with her bestie. "So, anyways... What ya workin' on today?" She asked Eris. She didn't really like to mess with Eris while she was working on something, but she felt that she needed her BFF's attention. She lowered her sunglasses over her eyes and looked over at the teacher, grinning. The teacher wasn't even paying attention. Oh well...
"The usual faceless people... Don't you ever draw anymore?" She asked sarcastically.
"Sure, when I can. I just can't focus all the time... And I prefer messing with you." Linsey grinned, and Eris thumped her in the forehead.
"Mrs. Dermain! Linsey has her sunglasses on!" Eris shouted at the teacher with a huge grin on her face.
"Linsey..." The teacher warned.
"Whatever." Linsey said, taking off her glasses.
Llama 1:"Shh! Do you hear that? That's the sound of forgiveness." Llama 2:"That's the sound of people drowning, Carl!" Llama 1:"That is what forgiveness sounds like; screaming and then silence."
I stepped through the door just a second after the tardy bell, praying Mrs.Dermain wouldn't see me. Looking around, I found Mo engaged in conversation with some girl and everyone else already split off into their usual groups. I sighed, putting my headphones back on before choosing an empty seat at the end of one of the tables. I liked people, sure, but they didn't seem to like me. "Just another useless Monday," I muttered, pulling out a bright red sharpie.
**By the way, I've decided that Sam's going to have a little bit of an independent/stubborn streak. And dysgraphia which means he carries a laptop with him the whole time.**
Sam
Sam stood up and nodded at all of the people he'd talked to. They seemed nice, and he wouldn't object to sharing lunch with any of them. Apart from the Max guy, he was a little freaky. But it was getting into third period and he didn't want to be welcomed by anyone. He preferred to find his own way round.
"Thanks for the offer, Jake, but after a week I actually know my own way round."
He waved cheerily at the other new people, picked up his ipod and began to walk to his art class.
He stepped into the door just as a short silence took over the class and winced when Mrs. Dermain stopped what she was doing and shot a death glare at him. Sam gestured at his map helplessly and she inclined her head towards an empty seat near two squabbling girls. Eris and Linsey. Sam rolled his eyes and took his place, cranking up his ipod volume with a sigh.
"It is curious how often you humans manage to obtain that which you do not want."
I watched the new guy walk through the door, his ear buds in. Turning my volume down a bit, I tried to see what he was like. Y'know, did he flirt, keep to himself, make jokes, pick his nose....After a week I still knew nothing. I sighed and went back to the huge self portrait I was doing on a piece of butcher paper. A shadow landed on it, and I looked behind me. "Nice picture."
>>>>>>>>>could be anyone! please don't make it be Mo, seeing as I'd have to talk to myself<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
"That's Jacob. Stay away from him, trust me." I said talking to Megan as we made our way over to our next class. "Why? He seems nice." Megan said. I shrugged and entered the class. Senna was in this class. "That's Senna. She's pretty nice. Well, at least to me." I said. I looked over to see her drawing some kind of scene. Like the sun setting. It was gorgeous. "Nice picture." I said to her. She turned around and looked at me. "Oh, hey Erika! Thanks! So you in this class? Awesome! What's your next class? Maybe we have the same classes together! Do you really like this picture? I hope so!" She talked a mile a minute. I blinked and replied, "Yeah. Mrs. Rachel math is next. I think it's amazing. Don't worry too much, I love it." "Hi." Megan said. "Hey!" Senna replied. I sat down next to her and took out some paper and begin to draw the beach with the sun setting, it's reflection on the ocean.
_____
Nutty. I want Senna and Erika to be friends, sound okay? Sorry, if I kind of God-modded Megan, I didn't know what else to do. I can change it though, if whoever plays her wants (:
Linsey didn't like the way that new kid came in and looked at her. It bugged her pretty darn bad. "Eris, I'll be right back."
She stood up, determined, and headed to the other side of the class room to Sam. She sat down on the table top, right next to him. He gave her a "Who are you?" look.
"Ok, so, what was that all about? You came in here and looked at me and my friend over there," She pointed at Eris, who was watching them. When she saw Linsey point at her, she blushed and went back to drawing, "like we were stupid or something. Why?"
She glared at him, and waited impatiently for him to answer.
I jerked my head up from my previous sleeping position on the desk. Ms.Karing was yelling at some Spade guy for sleeping. He should have taken the back seats, she never watched us back here. I glanced over at Lydia who wasn't even trying to cover up the fact that she was in a deep sleep. Her hair hung over the edge of the desk and her mouth was slightly open. I plucked the black and pink polka dotted bow from her head and fastened it in my hair. I laughed a little. Oh yeah, I look so sexy.

Eris I'm just going to re-post and bring Nikki in while Linsey talks to Sam.
Great, Linsey was attacking the new guy. Eris sighed She was always letting her thought be known, whether they're factually sound or not. She lookedat the door and saw yet another tardy come in. Nicole, a fellow senior. Seemed like everyone was getting into art. Eris waved at her and beckoned her over to the now vacant seat beside her.
((Hey Teddybear, you still haven't posted your character's appearance.))

She let out a long sigh, "You just called me stupid." The boy grinned. "Umm, what? Ok, nevermind. Welcome to the school, have a nice day, blah blah blah. Is that better?" She asked.
He chuckled again, and that cute little accent came spilling out "I suppose so?"
Linsey pouted her lips a little bit, but gave in and sat down in the seat next to him. "So are you any good at art? I like to draw comics. You know, little cartoon people?" She wadded up a piece of paper and threw it at Eris. It smacked her right in the forehead. Eris looked up at her and glared. Linsey laughed as Eris launched another one right back at her.
