Of course you can. But please, post everything out of character in the DT, your profile as well please. I'm ready to get this thing started, and I don't want so much clutter. Thank you
I guess I'll start then! **************************
Mondays suck. Always have. Weekends were great, but the day after is always miserable. She had had a pretty fun weekend, spending her Saturday night out at her favorite teen club. Now, all she could think about was how miserable she was, as she sat her tray down at the table. Breakfast at school wasn't the best, but she didn't eat at home most of the time. Sighing, she picked at the scrambled eggs and grits that the lunch ladies made. It wasn't that great...
She grabbed her big sun glasses and slid them down over her eyes. It aggravated the crap out of the teachers when she did that, so she did it frequently. It was way too early to actually need them, but who cares? Besides, the "group" would be arriving shortly. As for now, she would just pick at her breakfast until someone showed up.
Eris once again found herself in the halls of Double Springs High School. "I'm so glad it's senior year," she mouthed as she headed to the lunchroom. She watched the little lost freshmen milling around; they still had their faces inches from the maps they'd been given at orientation, trying to find their classes before school started.
She stopped by her locker, only to put her lunch up. She had three years of experience to tell her not to eat the cafeteria's food, and then headed on to find her friends.
The cafeteria was full of kids eating that stuff the lunch ladies called breakfast. With a quick glance around, Eris spotted Linsey. She was sitting alone, picking at the rubbery eggs on her plate.
"Hey, chick." Eris said as she slid onto the seat across from the girl.
Linsey looked up. "Hey, Eris. Where's Apollo?"
"Coach caught him when we came through the door. You're really going to eat that?"
Linsey nodded, and turned her attention back to her food. Reluctantly, she put some in her mouth and chewed. Eris grimaced. She despised cafeteria food. How anyone could eat it, she just couldn't figure out.
Llama 1:"Shh! Do you hear that? That's the sound of forgiveness." Llama 2:"That's the sound of people drowning, Carl!" Llama 1:"That is what forgiveness sounds like; screaming and then silence."
Lydia took one step into the crowded lunchroom and instantly recoiled back, covering her nose. "Eggs," she grimaced," Oh! I hate eggs!" She pulled the collar of her t-shirt over her nose and started towards the back of the lunchroom, Slayer trailed protectively behind her. Lydia dropped her bag down onto one of the brightly colored chairs before taking out her drawing pad. She scanned the room, searching for a good subject to draw and let her eyes drop upon two girls sitting at one of the front tables. She decided on the one with the sunglasses on. Slayer took a peak at Lydia's paper before switching his attention to a stain on his band tee. "Linsey, huh," he mumbled. Lydia looked up from her paper and stared at Slay with confused eyes. "You know her?" Slayer stood up fishing for a five-dollar bill in his back pocket. "Nope, just know her name," he took a step away from the table before looking back," you want anything? 'Cause I'm gonna go get a cupcake." Lydia shook her head 'no' and watched as Slayer walked away.
**Posted profile in the DT. Can I make Sam the new kid in school? And anyone want to be friend/relationship etc?**
Samuel Boyd
Being the new kid sucks, Sam thought as he wandered into the already crowded cafeteria. A group of freshman girls were crowded onto one table and Sam sighed as he saw his sister alreadt squeezed into the middle. That was Ellie, always able to fit in wherever she went.
Sam grabbed some food and found a small space at the end of a table. He rummaged in his pocket and brought out his battered ipod, quickly sticking in his earphones and smiling slightly as the Killers started to play loudly.
Sam sighed as he realised that it had been a couple of days since he'd started at the school and he still hadn't even talked to anyone enough to call them an aquaintance. He rolled his eyes minutely and began to tear at his roll with little enthusiasm.
Being the new kid really, really sucked.
"It is curious how often you humans manage to obtain that which you do not want."
"Oh cheer up!" I called at my brother, "It's not all that bad being new!"
"I'd rather be a misanthrope- oh wait- I am," My twin brother sighed and pushed back his hair. He slammed his car door shut and beeped the car to lock it, then without hesitation breathed in about to slander what was our new school.
"Bup," I said quickly as he opened his mouth again I repeated, "Bup!"
This continued for a while until I noticed a crowd seeming to lay their eyes upon us in disapproval, honestly I didn't care. A sideways smirk appeared on my brothers face, his snakebite glistening in the late fall's sun.
Max~
"Oh look some friends," The raven haired boy sneered sarcastically, looking at my sister who seemed to be having a bit of fun.
"He's not always this mean I swear," Abbey whispered to no one in particular. Max hated this, he hated the uprooting, he hated this block of cement that sat in front of him and he hated how his sister wanted him to try to be happy. He didn't want to try, to be genuinely happy you shouldn't have to try. He took a step forward following his jolly sister who seemed to be bouncing along as if she had springs in her shoes. He loomed high over the shorter fellow class men and how they filtered into the cafeteria.
"Hi there!!" Abbey said to a boy who was sitting by himself, "You must go here so you must know what where us new kids are supposed to go!"
Abbey sat down like she knew the kid, Max sat beside her silently, amused actually.
"Don't scare him Abbey," He whispered to his ADHD sister.
*thats you aqua!*

Erika
I woke up to the annoying sound of my alarm clock beeping. I smacked the "snooze" button, and immediately fell back asleep. "Erika! Are you up? Hurry, your going to be late for the first day of school!" I heard my mom shout from downstairs. I sighed and opened my eyes, and rolled out of bed.
After I was dressed I went downstairs to see mom in her professional work suit. White shirt, black pants, and her black heels. Matt was sitting at the table spooning his cereal around in the bowl. "Hey." I said to mom, and then to Matt shuffling his hair around. He smacked my hand. "No touching the hair." He replied with a serious look on his face. I laughed rolling my eyes. I grabbed some toast, spread some strawberry jelly on it, and ran out the door with a quick kiss to mom and Matt on the cheek. "Yuck." He said wiping his cheek again and again with the back of his hand. "Shut up." I said play fully. He smiled, and said goodbye.
I fell into place at the back of the snack line, stealing a glance at Lydia every few seconds to make sure she was okay. That girl could get into trouble quicker than a hamster in a snake's cage. Some guy cut in front of me in line.
It's to early to be fighting. I reminded myself before taking out my Ipod and shoving it in my ears. I let Saosin block out the guy in front of me and the up roaring noise in the lunchroom. I glanced back at Lydia who now had her head completely in her backpack searching for something. A smiled played on my lips. That girl, I thought shaking my head,Lydia. I swear... Someone pushed me forward.
"The line's moving!" I turned my music up louder and stepped forward.
"It's to early to fight," I mumbled while grabbing two banana nut muffins," to early to fight."
"Uh, sorry," Sam said with a slight smile to the crazy girl who was talking to him, "I'm new too, so you've pretty much asked the only person here who can't help you."
The girl laughed at this and the guy next to her rolled his eyes. Sam carried on eating his lunch quietly, then took out one of his earphones so that he could talk to them properly.
"I'm Sam, by the way. How about you?"
"It is curious how often you humans manage to obtain that which you do not want."
Apollo headed into the lunch room. He needed to tell Eris he'd be staying after school, the practice that was cancelled got uncancelled. Leave it to coach to not plan ahead.
He found Eris in her usual spot with Linsey and headed over to her.
"Hey, bro." Eris said as he sat down next to her. "What did coach want?"
"We've got practice after school." Apollo said, snagging a finger full of grits off Linsey's plate. She stabbed at him with her fork, but to no avail.
"I figured, is the game at home this time?" His sister started playing with her earrings, the pair of skulls bobbling below her ears.
"Yep. You coming Linsey?" He asked.
"Only if it's not hot out." Linsey dropped her fork and gave up on eating. Apollo snagged it and finished it off before he saw two of his teammates wave to him from another table.
"Hey, Pol!"
"See you later, Eris. Bye Linsey!" Apollo hurried away.
Llama 1:"Shh! Do you hear that? That's the sound of forgiveness." Llama 2:"That's the sound of people drowning, Carl!" Llama 1:"That is what forgiveness sounds like; screaming and then silence."
I looked around the cafeteria, trying to find a place to sit. There was one next to a kid I didn't know. I went over there cautiously, sitting down next to him and pulling my lunch out of my bag. I saw that he had the headphone to an iPod in his ear, and was talking with someone else next to him. I could hear the music from where I was sitting. I let him be and unwrapped my tuna fish sandwich, taking a bite.
Just another quack spoutingpsychobabble.
"If I win, I'm a prodigy. If I lose, then I'm mad. That's the way history is written."
I pulled my head out of my backpack and held up my pack of color pencils.
"Got it!" I screamed. The whole lunchroom turned to look at me and I recoiled back in my seat. I could practically hear Slayer scolding me from across the room. 'Bad move Lydia,' he would say,' don't draw attention to yourself.' I continued drawing that Linsey girl and tried not to look up and face the millions of eyes that were now focused on me. Yeah, I thought, that was a bad move.
I wondered why we put villains in our stories when we have plenty of them in real life; then I realized that maybe we wanted stories where the good guy wins. — nogutsnoglory
