Little Girl

I was walking downtown the day after Memorial Day when I came across this statue of a little girl holding onto her Daddy's arm who was apparently in the military. Someone had placed a rose in the crook of her arm and it looked like such a perfect picture, I had to take it

I like the picture, but there is to much light glinting off of her side. It makes the picture hard to look at and harsh. If the light on the side wasn't so bright, this photo would be beautiful. You have a good eye for what would make a good picture. Keep up the good work!

This is such an interesting picture, I really like it. But as pink said, there's too much light glinting off her side.This makes the picture look over saturated. A different angle would be better. And I thin k you should show a bit more of the father if possible (If the statue isn't huge.)

Anyway, keep up the good work!

I disagree with the others about the light--I think it makes it beautiful! It gives the whole thing a sort of soft, angelic look. It would be cool if you could show some more of the statue, but then that takes some of the emphasis off that gorgeous rose. I think it's pretty great just as it is. Great work!

I really like the picture, it's pretty cool .

Though the light is a little too bright for the rose - it's making the rose 'pop'rather than the girl - because at first I thought it wasn't real since the light is kind of outlining it, until I read what you'd said. Also maybe if we have a little bit more from the dad in a different angel, it would probably make the pictures look more sad and emotional - if you're trying to achieve that. :/
