*Ok so this is an idea I'm thinking about in which I would like to create an action/adventure series about a modern day hero. So I came up with this, Jason Keane: An SAS soldier fighting against modern evil all in the name of the british Military. Cliche..yeh I know, but check it out and let me know what y'all think.

Jason Keane
Taking back Lisa Paterson
Part1
I could hear fire on the ground below, I looked out the window and saw a city in the midst of utter chaos, a chaos I would soon be part of.
"You ready J!?" shouted Red, my commander and squadron leader.
"Yes sir!" I replied; with an air of steady confidence that would have tricked anyone else, apart from Red.
"You better be son!" He shot me a quick wink; he had seen through my thick layers of camouflage to my nervous interior. "Remember squad, no civilian casualties! We get in, grab that bimbo then get the hell out and let the ground forces sweep the city. You guys got that!"
"YES SIR!"
"Good. Now lets do this!"
The helicopter door slid open and a huge gust of wind rushed into the compartment. I had only a small moment to stare down at the destruction of the city "An najaf" before I was plunged into it.
"Go! Go! Go!"
I leapt out into the sky and descended rapidly to the Iraq battle grounds. I could see enemy forces firing at us from below and could smell the putrid stench of fresh death as the desert city raced closer towards me. I could feel the wind whip at my uniform. I could hear the screams of women and children. I pulled the parachute cord, it was time.
On landing two bullets blazed past my face and I barely managed to dive out of the radius of a frag explosion. Pulling out my rifle I rolled into cover behind a burnt out car. I peeped my head above and swiftly surveyed the scene. I ducked back down as I received heavy fire from all directions.
"J! Come in J! Are you receiving radio transmission?"
"Yes Red sir! I need to find thicker cover!"
"Get it on it su........." I could hear shooting over the other side of the radio. I panicked.
"Sir! Sir! Come in sir!"
"Get to cover kid! Out!"
I pulled out a smoke grenade and threw it. I waited for the fog to cover me and raced to a nearby house. I could hear soldiers inside. I shot the windows through and sent in a frag. I ducked down as the explosion sent glass flying.
I smashed down the shards of remaining glass and vaulted through the window and made my way upstairs. I narrowly avoided a shotgun blast that destroyed most of the brick wall in front of me. I Spun around to see the rebel fumbling with his shotgun, I quickly killed him and, taking a turn into the right room, discovered a staircase onto the roof.
"J! Come in J!"
"J here!"
"Listen up son! We just got confirmation that the enemy have taken that bitch out from the mosque and into one of the local households. It's up to you and Banks to infiltrate it, he infiltrates from the ground you infiltrate from the roof. Can you confirm you are on the rooftops?"
"I am sir. I will proceed to infiltrate."
"It's suspected to be about three houses in front of you. Good luck J. Out!"
"Ou...." before I could end the radio transmission I was abruptly thrown from my feet as a missile hit the ground behind me and the roof began to cave in. Dust sprang into my eyesight, temporarily blinding me.
I started to stagger away from the debris as I heard bullets blister past me. I collapsed onto the ground and started to choke. The dust cleared and I saw the roof sinking into itself and just before the whirlpool of brick could reach me, I managed to get to my feet and leap onto the opposite house. Leaving the destruction of the crumbling building behind me.
I heard someone run up the nearby staircase and step out onto the roof. Still in the agony of choking I rolled onto my stomach and into my sights came a small Iraqi girl, I was able to hold back my fire and behold the innocence of the tiny creature.
I lowered my weapon slightly and, placing on the calmest voice I could, I tried to assure her, "Its ok dear. Get back to cov...." I took a glance at the flashing red light strapped across her chest. She started to cry. I pulled the trigger. I had too. I just had too.
I leapt to the next house and hoped the memory would fade. I ran to the rooftop stairs.
"Your on the house son!"
Racing down the steps I took up a position where I could clearly see both the kidnapped journalist and her kidnapper. All I had to do now was wait for Banks to appear on the scene.
I got my sights on target as the man kept his clutch on the news writer. I shrugged off the anxious twitch in my hands and watched.
Banks burst through the window, Judo rolled behind an overturned kitchen table and gathered his bearings. The terrorist shot at Banks and I made my move. I took a shot at the mans heart but wasn't fully on target; hitting the man's gun, it flew from his grasp and Banks bounced from behind the table.
"Keep on the ground both of you!" he shouted, "Get on the ground Miss Pa...." Cut off; he collapsed to the floor as an outside sentry silenced Banks forever. His corpse made no sound over the screech of artillery fire outside as it thudded against the brick flooring. But the news writer did; her scream pierced my ears stunning me for a few seconds, sadly those few seconds were enough for the Iraq soldier to regain his weapon and fire at me from the floor. I side rolled down the staircase and shot the brains of the sly kidnapper out. But I hadn't escaped the turmoil unscathed. Blood seeped from my left shoulder down my uniform. I bit down hard on my lip, silencing my pain. I had been shot.
"Get over here!" I cried, "Now come on!"
She crawled over to me. "Don't hurt me!"
"I'm not, We're here to rescue you!"
She shook her head, "I don't believe you." her eyes filled up.
"We are. Now get the fuck over here!"
She let out a small squeal of terror and crawled to the side of me.
"J! J! Get out that house J! Get out that house!" I heard the screech of an incoming rocket somewhere in the distance. I grabbed the blonde locks of the cowering journalist and pulled her to her feet.
"Come on!" I bellowed.
The rocket tore through the sky and blasted the house. By the hair I threw her outside and tackled her to the ground as the brick and rubble flew through the air like missiles. The floor shook with the force of the explosion.
As we crashed to the hard flooring the pain in my shoulder erupted. I heard a large vehicle skid to a halt by the side of us. A pair of black boots sent desert dust streaming into my eyes as they landed in front of me. They stepped towards the girl.
I couldn't let them kill her without a fight. I grabbed my knife and lunged for the leg. The soldier kicked the knife from my hands and stamped onto my arm. I looked up and saw the murderous eyes of every balaclava faced Iraq soldier I had ever seen. He pointed his rifle down towards me. I closed my eyes. I heard a shot. I felt no pain. I opened my eyes.
The Iraq soldier collapsed under the weight of his lifeless legs. I blinked twice in disbelief. There was a bullet wound in his head.
Just then a rumble of boots thundered toward me.
"Get up J! Come on!"
"Red." I choked.
"Get up!" he roared. "Where's Banks!?"
"He's dead." I gasped.
"Shit!"
Chucking us into the back of the Iraqi vehicle, I was able to rest for a second as Red sped through the crumbling remains of the city.
"J......don't get too frigging comfy there, we will need you to man the machine guns with Tess now"
I sat up and scrambled toward one of them. "What am I firing at sir!?"
"Our helicopter has been hijacked!" Just as Red said this there appeared from above a SAS marked helicopter. "I think you can guess the rest J."
"Oh fu......." I was thrown to my back as Red violently changed direction to throw the chopper off. I rose back up and held onto the machine, the bullet wound in my left shoulder flared up like fire. I had no time to feel pain as the chopper was already back on course with us, the surrounding desert being torn apart as bullets rained down from its rotary guns.
I shot at the cockpit. The rumble in the machine shaking my body. I hit the pilot and the chopper nose dived to the floor. It crashed and sunk into the desert sands sending a wave of dust and debris our way. I was thrown to the floor as the vehicle spun in the storm. I felt the flare in my shoulder explode and the world turned into a milky yellow as my senses faded away.
