Wow. These have so much...depth, meaning, behind them that I am just awed and can't find any critiques, besides that the second one is awesome, the light is just a little too flared at the top in my opinion.
Anyways, great photos. What camera d'ya use, may I ask?

I just used a Cannon digital camera. Thanks for the comment!

I really really like these. They have such beauty, depth, and really good lighting haha! To think that just a simple cannon camera did that is amazing. Keep doing photography!!

That is awesome! I love these, they do have a spiritual meaning. And the funny thing was, I was listening to the song Fully Alive by Flyleaf and it showed statues like that in the music video, so I was like...ohhhh heyyyy!!! yeah anyways, great work!
Sorrow lasts through this night
I'll take this piece of you,
and hold for all eternity
For just one second I felt whole... as you flew right through me.

Thank you all for the comments! :)

These were taken on a field trip to a cemetery. As a strong believer, I am extremely passionate about getting Christ's message out in any way I can. If it being photography then so be it. Flyleaf has been my favorite band for years now. Their music is strongly inspired by Christ but yet appeals to different audiences. I was able to meet Lacey, their lead singer, at a concert they did in Baton Rouge this year. I found her to be a very inspiring, talented young woman with a heart for God. Now that you mentioned it, they are similar to the video for "Fully Alive"

If you're intrested here's the link to their newest video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_0KBdOmX8M

Hey there, heroine. I'm June; welcome aboard the ship that is YWS.

I like these photos. They have the inspirational touch to them that usually comes in crossing Jesus with light and such forth. Pretty cool.

> In the first picture, you have a good deal of washout that makes it a touch hard to distinguish the outlining between the statue's head and the sky. I think, if you care to edit, that the sky should be brought up a few gamma points to darken it just enough to show the contrast between the head and sky.

> The next photo is okay; the light in the right hand corner (not the ray of sunlight) is kind of annoying, because eyes are naturally drawn to light. Our attention is diverted from his face and the ray of sunlight, to this corner. I would photoshop it out, because it's easily percieved as a distraction.

I like your work; the soft colors work well here, and I think as far as inspirational qualities go, this is pretty impressive.
