When you think outside activities seem daunting

(i don’t mind them, and really all i have is my art class and it helped me improve.)

You know you're a nerd when you like finding typos in textbooks.

When you like learning the ranks of the army and then awarding yourself field-general.

When you went for the lectures regularly while all your friends bunked the classes because there wasn't any minimum attendance criteria :')

When you know every single word of the song off by heart that are you doing in a Listening Comprehension in second language. (Technically I’m billiginual but then again my English is much better.)

When you're the only one who answers in class :')

You know you're a nerd when other people call you one when you tell them that nerdiness is a socially-constructed concept and so you know you're a nerd when other people call you one when . . .

Again… that is literally what happened last week.

You know you’re a nerd when everyone only likes you the morning before a test they didn’t study for.

(Why do I relate to that so much... Like you suddenly become popular for a few hours)

When someone tries to insult you and you give them a detailed explanation of why that insult is grammatically/factually wrong and is invalid.
(I speak from experience, people :') )

You know you're a nerd when you stop asking yourself if you are one.

(@Phillauthet Exams means you are popular for a few weeks… my friend literally saw them swarm a circle around me and asked me later if I was okay.

(Ah that makes sense. I can never keep track of all the people who borrowed my notes. Sometimes I can't track a few books and I just storm into class and shout 'LIKE SERIOUSLY WHO HAS MY (subject) CLASSWORK')
