The back-and-forth, now, Irish...

Zelda

"Of course, Peach could just be overreacting--" Peach threw Zelda a disgusted look--"but I heard its raspy breathing, so I can't be sure that--"

"Believe me...our dear Princess Peach was not lying," a mysterious, deep voice interrupted Zelda. A hooded figure stepped out from the shadows in front of the trio on the Light Side.

As the person lowered back her hood, the threesome gasped. "Zero Suit Samus...!"

Haha yep!

Link

Link stepped forward and unseathed his sword, blocking both girls from the evil Dark Sider. "What do you want Zero Suit?"

Wow...Nutmeg and Twil have quite a bit of catchin' up to do, eh? Well, I'm gonna leave 'em behind for now...

ZSS (Zero Suit Samus)

She laughed. "Zero Suit? What a nice nickname you've given me, thank you very much."

"It wasn't meant to be funny," Link growled menacingly. Meanwhile, Zelda and Peach were surprised at how deep his voice got and how shiny his eyes became.

"Oh, then excuse me, Sir. If you're too much of a dunderhead too understand I was using sarcasm, then--"

"How dare you call Link a dunderhead, you monster!" Zelda cried, shoving him out of the way and sending out her fireballs (Din's Love moves, remember...? Yup.) at ZSS.

"Zelda--!" Link saw ZSS's face and immediately grew worried.

"Watch your mouth, Princess. Otherwise things might get a little scary for you." ZSS got up from the floor and lashed out at Zelda with her plasma whip.

"Ha! Is that all you've got?" Zelda scorned ZSS while easily dodging the whip. "Because if so, then I'm afraid you're in for some trouble." Zelda performed her Farore's Wind (her up-B move in Smash) to draw close to ZSS, then twirled into her Naryu's Love diamond shield, (You know, that thing where it's, er, well...yeah?) sending ZSS flying down the hallway when she got into contact with it.

Zelda coldly straightened up. "Much-needed practice, Zero Suit. Much-needed."

Shadow/Dark Link

An abrupt, cold gust of air blew through the corridors, and an entity of interminable obsidian seemed to emerge from the shadows. A devious smirk played about Dark Link's lips, his crimson eyes of blood-lust aiming straight at Princess Zelda.

Without withdrawing his gaze from the Hylian, he cast an elusive, darkened force towards Zero Suit Samus and her lithe frame glowed for a moment, before she was lifted back to her feet.

"It's been quite a while, Princess," Shadow Link spoke calmly, and for a moment everyone fell silent. Sapphire orbs were mesmerized by red irises almost instantaneously. He was dangerous - directly carved from the evil lord's magic.

Link stepped closer to Zelda, completely forgetting about Peach, who was now completely exposed, and gave Dark Link a look that said "Dis Lady is MINEEE!"

He pointed his sword at his dark opposite. "And it should be a while still."

Zelda

She forced herself to tear her gaze away from Shadow Link. "Um, Link, I-I'm OK..."

"Oh!" Shadow Link snorted. "Of course you'll give heed to his words, but you don't even notice me." Zelda was again mesmerized by the blood-red eyes.

"Th-th-that's not true..." she trailed off as the irises seemed to shine even brighter in the darkness.

"Hey," Peach coldly interrupted. "In case you guys haven't noticed, I'm still here."

Link

Link ignored her. "Get out of the light side Dark Link, you're not welcome here."

SOOO sorry I haven't been on in so long! Please forgive me! *bows*

Zelda

She came to with a jolt. Wait a minute...this is the light side! So how did Dark Link penetrate our territory? she thought. Frowning, she looked straight into his eyes without flinching. They were not hypnotyzing anymore. Coldly, she remarked, "You know, ZSS and Dark Link, you're intruding on our territory right now. So you might as well leave."

Dark Link frowned, but realized Zelda was serious. He bowed and pulled ZSS back into their realm.

Zelda sighed and turned to Peach. "Sorry about that! Now that they're gone, we should talk about a more important matter."

"Like?" Peach was puzzled.

Link cleared his throat. "Obviously Dark Link and ZSS weren't the monster that was chasing you two. So who could it be?"

They all fell silent. A huge, dark shadow emerged from its Dark Realm, engulfing the Light Trio in darkness. Turning, they immediately realized this was the monster. Link yelled, "RUN!!"

Zelda pulled Peach along, miraculously keeping up with Link. "Don't try to attack that thing! Right now we have to escape!" Zelda breathlessly told him as he brought out his bomb pouch.

Rounding a corner, all three froze. They'd run right into a dead end!
