Hi, I am Stephan.
I write novels that are generally meant for young adults. But hey, I read hunchback of Notre Dame when I was 11, so who cares?
I found out about this site while looking for a writing competition for people my age. I have signed up for the bennington college one, and I may win, because based on the winners from last year, the expectations are very low. I guess that's because they think that us young people can't write for sh*t. I'm not even gonna go into how much that is generally true, though that is usually because of the so called literature of this day and age.
I come up with all my own work, I try to stay as far away from main stream literature as possible (Twilight )
I try to make books about the characters and the plot, rather than making a quick buck, especially considering I make no money from it anyway.
So when I upload something I wrote, I hope you enjoy it!

Hey there! Welcome, I'm Logan. Here are the basic rules:

• 3:1 - 4:1 ratio, for each story you post you need to do 3 - 4 reviews.
• Keep chatspeak to a minimum, as in lol, brb, afk, and etc...
• PLEASE DO NOT SPEAK IN CAPS, IT'S RUDE AND ANNOYING.

That's about it.

Also, I tell people this, when reviewing be nice to people but don't just sugar-coat things - be a bit thoughtful of their work but critique it. I know I sometimes take reviews personally.

Hey Stephan and Welcome to YWS!!

Even though you've probably already red the rules, and I see Logan covered most of the rules, (Just reinforcing them xD).

1) The 3:1 ratio. If you can, we'd like you to do 3 reviews for every piece of writing or photography that you post on here. You might *hear* that it's a different ratio, but it isn't.

2) Plz no cht spk OR CAPS LOCK. This includes grammar, capitilization, apostrophes and overuse of punctuation (!!!!!!). This also includes the chat room. Grudgingly excepted chatspeak is: lol and brb. No more than that, please.

3) Rate your work. When you sumbit a new piece then you can choose to rate it: E (everyone), 12+, 16+ or 18+. Members like to know what they're going to read so please think carefully about your rating, because some users will get mad if a work is not rated appropriately.

4) Be nice. So no swearing outside of your stories and no flaming other members. No one likes a fight, we try to keep things happy.

Well since the rules have been covered...twice I'll ask you all the tough questions. *deep breath* Favorite color? Cats or dogs? Favorite soda? Spots or stripes? What do write with a computer, or go old school and use a paper and pen? Coffee or tea? If you were trapped on a deserted island, what are the three things you would take with you? Are you left handed or right? Boxers or briefs?
