Hello everyone1 It's been a long time since I posted something here! But, I have my newest photography work ready to be attacked by you. >.< I hope you like it. The photo wasn't meant to be, I just simply picked up my camera and photographed. It's my sister, by the way.
This is the start of a great shot! It's cute, and straight forward.
To me, though, it seems like her eyes need to pop a bit more. I don't usually agree with too much editing of photographs, but it looks like her eyes are fantastic and I just want to know how awesome they really are. Eyes are something that are often underappreciated with a non-edited photograph. Irises can be a huge source of interest in photographs. You can brighten them up with any editing software--even the free "paint.net". I use it and love it!
Well, that's an awfully cute picture. I love it. Okay so, nitpicking it, I love the complete natural-ness and I love her expression so there isn't much to say on the subject plain, unedited photography. If you're going in for editing, I would suggest adding sparkle to the eyes, removing the moisture above her upper lip and adding lustre to the hair. A sort of natural glow.
So, keep up the awesome work of yours! ~Lava

So! This photo is beautiful. It's so adorable. I agree with Via - her eyes are fantastic and definitely deserve to be brighter. It would make them stand out more, what with her long lashes and light skin. I love how you can see the different colors in her hair. Great attention to detail. Is that water above her upper lip? It throws off the light and makes it look a little weird, so I'd edit that out. Here expression is odd as well. It seems like a forced smile, just slightly unnatural. I know it's difficult to get children to cooperate... It really depends what you were going for with the expression. To me, she looks very thoughtful, instead of childlike joy.
Other than that, it's wonderful. ^^ I'd like to see more from you.

Thanks for all the reviews. That thing that she has above her lip it's actually some cookies' crumbles but I didn't take those off because it sorted gave me an example of ther childish. I'm a bit against photo editing as well but I'll try using it a bit more!
Nice, Shauni! I love the clarity of this, the closeness is great, and her curious-playful expression is totally adorable.
I agree with Via. A touch of photo editing on the eyes to bring out their vibrancy would be excellent. It's not so much a big deal, haha, a lot of photographers lightly edit photos for detail; I think you should. It could also help bring out the colors of her dress more.
The only thing that could have made this better is if you had gotten both of her shoulders in the picture for balance. Other than that, it's good, especially for an impromptu shot.
I'd love to see more of your stuff, Shauni. Keep it up.
