YG is not the everyday YWS user you come across.I generally have an affinity for trouble.Their are certain things I appreciate and certain things that get my head boiling.
Absolutely hate:
1.43,672 smilees flashing across the screen.I generally get the point with one or two.
2.Use of stuff like zzzoommggggg!!!!!!!!!awweeeeessssssssssommme!!!!!!!!.
3.People not being honest with reviews.
4.People who don't put anything at all into their writing and still post.
5.Members with common views ganging up against the other guy/gal's opinion if it's against their comfort zone of beliefs.
What I appreciate:
1.People who can review mine or anybody else's work and open say it was bad or disappointing.
2.Good poems/stories/other stuff that I occasionally come across over here.
3.The Debate group when it is active.
4.People who can debate well against me in the Debate group.
5.Certain helpful members here.
6.Frank and straightforward people.
What is not possible:
Someone saying I resemble another member in my attitude, style of writing and approach. If you say that, you need a cup of coffee.
What you must know:
1.Just being a person who does not go with the crowd does not necessarily make you unique.
2.I can get into trouble over here.
3.Debate group needs more members and active members. So please join.
4.Don't hate the debate group. It helps in fighting Alzheimer's (i.e. if the members visit the group more often).
5.This is possibly my only long post.So read it till the end.
6.I might think of deleting this post(if its possible) unless 10 different people don't reply in a week or two.
7.This site helps to improve your writing to quite an extent if you get reviews of certain exceptional reviewers.
8.This posts contain grammar mistakes.
What I can't understand:
1.Why grammar nitpicks take place in reviews.People come here to entertain with their stories/poem and not sit for an English lesson.Point out grammar mistakes only when a different message altogether occurs by the grammar mistake.
2.In general people's heavy obsession of grammar.Humans react mostly to how it is said and not what is said if I'm not mistaken.
I cannot help it if you:
1.Felt uneasy reading this.
2.Did not like what was said.
So...any reactions?
P.S.---If you know how to reduce the number of your glasses without lasik, PM me.
