I came into this world wrinkled and ugly. And no matter how much I accumulate here, it's a short journey. I will go out of this world wrinkled and ugly. So I enjoy life.

Name: Hallie Woods

Age: 14

Sex: Female

Family, relationships: Orphan, she thinks she has no living family, but she does...it was just kept from her...on purpose, as to not scare or harm her...

Crime/why a fugitive: Blamed for the mass murder at her orphanage. Everyone but her was killed (I will explain why in time...xD)

Location: A small-town jail in drowsy Ohio.

Personality: Shy, quiet, with a nasty temper and sarcastic attitude at times. Vicious if on her bad side; would give her life for anyone, though because she feels she's worthless. If you need a shoulder to cry on, she'll be there, despite how she seems.

Um shouldn't you make the ages more realistic for this storybook?
I came into this world wrinkled and ugly. And no matter how much I accumulate here, it's a short journey. I will go out of this world wrinkled and ugly. So I enjoy life.

Name: Marley Dwalavyn

Age: 17

Sex: Female

Appearance: 5'4" with short black hair and silver-gray eyes, Marley has a two-inch scar beneath her left ear she got falling down the stairs as a baby. She wears mostly dark clothes and jeans with pockets on the sides. Always wears a silver ring on her right-hand middle finger that her mother gave to her.

Family, relationships: Marley has been living with her grandparents Ted and Margaret Dwalavyn, parents died when their ship disappeared off the coast of Iceland, no one knows what happened. Used to have a boyfriend, but that came to nothing a long time ago, she's still a little sore over it.

Crime/why a fugitive: thought to have stolen a large amount of money from a rich woman she once babysat for- there is no proof that she didn't do it, and without substantial proof, she is sent to prison for a five-year sentence. (couldn't think of anything more exciting- sorry)

Location: A jailhouse in Brinston (made it up), New York - country part of the state.

Other: Is a very quiet, withdrawn sort of person, but is friendly and outgoing with friends. Has a short temper if you provoke her, and is very good at taking things apart (her father used to be a mechanic). And yes, she's up for love.

How's that? I'm a first-timer to the whole storybook thing :D

Princess, I am fine with my character the way it is. It's supposed to be like that. There's a reason.

Starting!

Rain splattered Ella's face as she raced towards freedom. Alarms blared and people shouted, but all of it was a blur. Her face was contorted in determination as briers scratched and cut at her orange prison clothes.
Spitting hair out of her mouth, she cleared the 20ft fence, ignoring the barbed wire as it slashed open her palms.
And suddenly, she was free. Laughing like a carefree schoolgirl, she raced off into the woods.
I came into this world wrinkled and ugly. And no matter how much I accumulate here, it's a short journey. I will go out of this world wrinkled and ugly. So I enjoy life.

Sorry I wasn't able to post earlier- I've got a large family and only one computer hooked up to the internet... which means a lot of waiting.

Marley Dwalavyn

Marley slipped through the revolving doors and blended into the milling crowd- Nervously she pulled the strings of her hood tighter and plunged further into the swarm of people. When she had gone a safe distance from the building she paused for a moment at the corner of an alley. Breathing deeply, she scanned her surroundings and forced her heart to beat at a slower rate. She had to look natural, she had to be calm... Were they following her? Did they know where she was at this very moment? She must get out of New York- she must disappear and her memory be forgotten. She must!
Suddenly there was a commotion, the crowd was being parted- a man was yelling orders, she saw the flash of police lights, and the whine of sirens. Panicking, Marley ducked into the alley and ran until her chest heaved and she stumbled over the uneven blacktop. But she couldn't stop, she had to keep going, she had to get away. "Oh, what have I done?" Marley whispered hoarsely, and pushing off the wall, began to run again.

Trent Jackson

Trent stared at the cold gray walls around him. He turned his head to the silver bars that kept him enclosed from the world...that kept him from ripping anyone who had known about the plot to kill his parents apart.
His mind thought about his little sister, Caitlyn, and wondered if she was alright, and where she was. He missed his family, and wished none of this had happened, and that he would be free... if only...that man hadn't killed his family.
