This was a picture I took on a picture taking spree I had this afternoon in my backyard, fall is really incredible here and some of the colors were just begging for pictures! This one is my favortie, it looks totally CG but its not!

Oh this is nice. The fall colors on the tress are very pretty in any picture :]. The lighting is very awesome, it compliments the fall leaves very well. That light emitting in a circle in the picture makes it stand out as well. Good job.
Hey, Irish! I love the picture. The lens flare in particular is awesome. =o I love how it has those reddish-orange fall colors in it. It really makes the picture special. My little nitpicks are that the sun is so bright that your eye is sort of like, "WHOA" and sticks there. I do like how the sun is just a teeney bit off center, though. And the other thing is that it sort of darkens your trees, so it's difficult to see the other colors. But other than that: great job, amazing picture. You're very good at photography--I can see why you would want a camera to call your own. ^^

WOW. This is just amazing! This shot really looks like it could be in some sort of nature calendar or something! I love the flare effect and the colors and well, everything. There's nothing I could say that can possibly improve this picture. A job well done, I look forward to seeing more of your work!

First off, this is a really awesome picture - Autumn is totally the best month.
However, there are a couple of nitpicks.
I agree with you, the colours in Autumn really are wonderful. The problem here is that the sun's made some of the trees darker so you've lost the whole variety of colours that you could get. Despite that, I love the sun behind the picture because although it takes away something, it also adds a lot!
And, as Lucinda said the sun is really bright and takes your attention away. This is turn makes everything else seem that much more dull.
But it's beautiful and you're very talented. xD.

Wow that's really pretty! I love how the sun is shining like that in it and the lense flare looks awesome! It's true though that with the sun in the picture, you can't really see the colors of the trees clearly. If you really want to capture the fall colors, you should take another one without the sun there. I really like it like this anyway though!
I'll just do a quick review. First off, it's kind of blurry. Like, too blurry. I know you can't just go off and buy a better camera and such. But maybe try a tripod. Or set your camera on a timer and then just hold it really steady or put it on a table, so the hitting of the button doesn't through your focus off. Just a knit pick, though.
I don't mind the sun so much (try squinting, it looks great). A little more light on the trees would have been nice, but sometimes you have to sacrifice.
I hate that little 'lens flare' or whatever it's called. And the distortion outside the red circle. It makes it look photoshopped- in a bad way. Always take pictures normally unless you really have to. Trust me.
Good pic, though. Keep at it.

At 2nd pick: Still too blurry, foreground is too out of focus. Green leaves suck life out of nicer looking pink flowers. The cloudy sky is also just visual noise that distracts too much when combined with the leaves. And the picture just isn't really special or interesting. It's like a decent picture of flowers ruined by some green leaf juxtaposition. Too much going on and too little going on at the same time. It needs focus, you know? All in all, it's okay but very, very boring.

Both the pictures are very good. In my opinion, they are both great examples of nature. Maybe try focusing a little more, so the backgrounds won't be as blurry (the second one, I'm refering to) but other than that great pictures!

Hi, Irish! :'D Oh wow! You have such a beautiful backyard~♥
Personally, I think your photography skills are simply wonderful. The flare of the lens with the sun reflecting off the middle is lovely. Awwh, and the autumn colors of the picture are so pretty! :O
The second photo was a tad blurry, but it didn't bother me at all. The blurriness didn't detract too much from the flower's beauty. You're so lucky to have such magnificent nature in your backyard in the first place! XD
