I usually don't rhyme this much in songs so if it gets too rhymey-rhymey please tell me and if you have any other suggestions for rhymes that you think sound forced, please suggest them because I am definitely not a rhyme-smith :)
___________
She always wanted someone that,
Could take her hand and not look back
No consequence, no feeling scared
Just happiness with love unaired
---
She always wanted to believe,
That love would come and take the lead
Without the fear of the unknown
Without the loss of her one hope
---
But then she grew up way too fast,
And no one cared they only laughed
And no one came to take the lead
She lost all faith and all belief
---
Love…
Love…
(rep.)
---
He always loved her deep inside,
But he had fear and lost his pride
He didn’t come and take the lead,
He felt lost and oh so weak
---
But when he saw that special girl,
He felt his heartbeat start to trill
She looked alone and he knew why,
He took her hand and said “don’t cry”
---
Love….
Love…
(rep.)
---
She always wanted someone that,
Could take her hand and not look back
No consequence, no feeling scared
Just happiness with love unaired

I acutally think it doesn't sound too try-hard it's not all that bad of a song. I wish i could know what is sounds like though.
But one thing I might wanna change if you can is:
But then she grew up way too fast,
And no one cared they only laughed
That line does seem forced and you could probably leave the rest except the "they only laughed" part. Sorry I don't have any further ideas about tha though :/...
:)
Vouslez vous de beurre? =}D

If I see an American in real life or a kiwi in a blockbuster, it feels surreal and weird, and like a funny trip.
