This is Me.

Okay, this really has no title at all. I know it must really suck but I need it for a class but the deal is, I need it in spanish but I have no idea how to translate it. Really, I'm asking for some quick help for this. So anyone, that would be nice. And also, critique if you may.



This is me.
I am strong, I am brave.
I break, I bleed.
I hurt, I cry.
I can stand against the currents.
This is me.


Short and to the point, just how I life it. And still, help on that Spanish translation would be nice.

That's the best I can do, anyway.

Anyway, that aside - please don't put down your work. D= I hate going into a poem with that flavor in my mouth.
I like the contrasts you have between regular human emotions and being able to stand against the currents; it would be nice to see some elaboration on both points.

My Spanish is not "super" but "Este" is used for masculine. And "Esta" would be used for feminine!
Ok, I checked it with a Spanish friend : Esto masculine, Esta feminine

And, Lia, nice try, but the verb "estar" is not broken down into masculine and feminine. "Estar" is a verb. Adjectives, such as "sangra", "rampa", "valiente", and so on, are broken down into masculine and feminine categories. You never use anything other than "estoy" with "yo," regardless of sex. Here's the breakdown for "estar:"

"Yo estoy" or "Estoy yo" = "I am" or "This is me"
"Tu estas" = "You are"
"Nosotros (m)/Nosotras (f) estamos" = "We are"
"El/Ella/Usted esta" = "He/She/It is"
"Ellos/Ellas/Ustedes estan" = "They are"

Well, other than that, I liked it very much. Straight to the point, no digressing with wordiness necessary. Way to go. Keep writing.

You were extremely helpful. But its funny how everyone has a different translation. I was truly interesting to see how the Spanish version sounded against the English one. I think yours sounds really good. I'll take it to my Spanish teacher tomorrow and see what she says(:

I'm no cheater.(my sister just asked me a few moments ago) This was just for one of my friends, she speaks amazing Spanish and she challenged me to this. so maybe you are helping me cheat at something...?
