Chapter two. Please review. Any thing! Good OR bad!!! Any title ideas?
My alarm clock wakes me up the next morning. I roll to my side and look at the time. Great, it's six-fifteen. I get out of my comfy bed that I just want to lay there all day. I rub my eyes. There bleary. I get out of my comfy bed, and the floor is freezing on my bare feet. I can hear my mom and dad down stairs getting ready for work. My alarm clock starts going off making a buzz sound. Why do I even have an alarm clock. I wake up on time? I shut off the annoying sounds.
I go to my bathroom. I was so lucky that my mom and dad decided to give me the second master bedroom. I strip my clothes off and flung them on the floor. I turn the water on the water is freezing cold against my hand. I never go in at first. I turn the shower on and I slowly get in. The warm water warms my cold skin. I get goosebumps all over me. I wet my long blond hair. Thinking to my self that Brittnie's favorite place was the shower. I poured the shampoo in my hand and scrubbed it in. I rinsed it out. I made sure there was no more soap in it.
I finished in the shower. I shut it off. I could hear my two little brothers getting ready for school. I go to my closet. Its a mess. I will have to clean it one of these days. I see the new outfit my parents bought for me. I pull on the bright yellow skinny jeans and then the black tank top. My mom and dad bought it for me at my favorite store Dot's. I then yank my gray sweat shirt off of its hanger. I don't even know why my mom bothers to hang my clothes on hangers. I will rip it of either way.
I blow dry my hair. It curls up. I used to straighten it, but I haven't since Brittnie died.
"Jess, do you want breakfast?"
I could hear my mom all the way down stairs. "No."
No response. I put my eye liner on. My heart feels like it is going to explode. I don't know how I am going to handle today. Maybe my mom was right. If you don't do it know, It will be harder down the road.
As I am putting my black flip flops on my brothers come walking in my room. "Sissy, mom is wondering if you want her to drive you or are you taking a bus?" my little brother, Brian, asks.
"I am taking the bus,"
He nods then walks out and makes the door slam. My backpack is all ready for today. So I grab it and run down the stairs. My heart is beating so fast. I kiss every one good bye and go out the door. As I am walking to my bus stop my neighbor, Justin is walking to. He comes over. And smiles his gorgeous dimples. I can feel my cheeks blushing bright red.
"It's good to have you back on our bus," Justin says. He's had a crush on me ever since I've moved here. I've never liked him more than a friend. "I've really missed having a normal person around. The twins, Katie and Sam, are weirder then ever. They both like me. They asked me out the same time. I was like uh.. no."
I laugh at him, "Sorry, but I can't help it. The way you just did it was hilarious. Are you going to sit with me at lunch today?"
He looks down. "Well, um, I kind of switched it," he plays with a stick he picked off the ground.
I give him a look. Just does a little cough, "I am dating Sarah. You know your old best friend. And she thought it would be better if I had the same lunch as her."
"Oh. I see. My friendship isn't enough for you?"
The bus pulls up and I can see every ones eyes open wide. I follow every one on the bus and every one is shouting. The bus driver, George, says hi to me and he's glad to have me back on my bus. The only opened seat I see is next to my ex boyfriend.
I sit next to him. He shuts off his Ipod and turns to me. "You know every one was making bets for when you were coming back. I figured today."
I give him a dirty look, "Listen, Greg, I can come one what ever days I want to."
"Are you emo?"
"Stop being so pathetic."
The bus pulls up to my humongous school and I jump up to get off the bus. I see my five best friends standing there. There's one missing. There's Mary, Hallie, Tori, Christy, and Allie, but no Marissia.
I smile as they run over to me. They hug me and yap. This day is going to be a bad one. I can already feel it.
