Portrait Of The Artist (kinda)

This is a photoshopped image using Photoshop Elements 2.0.
To do this I removed the colour (Enhance/Adjust Color/Remove Color) and (for whoever may have cottoned on that my hair isn't really crazy like that DX) used a brush (set to Overlay mode) on top of my hair. The text was Courier and I drew the heart on in Pencil mode.

What do you think? I often experiment in Photoshop because there are so many different techniques you can acheive

I'd also love to see what other peeps can do with Photoshop - everybody knows different tips and tricks.

I love this! The hair colors are genius, but I don't really like the heart. Maybe if you textured it a bit or something? It seems out of place with the rest of the picture. that's all I can find that I don't like about it, except maybe move the "that.was.surreal" up to the top right corner. Just so we can see more of this awesomesauce picture.

i think this would look great on a CD cover.the heart maybe can go, but other than that love the hair!

This is very nice. I agree with the above reviews, though: no heart, or at least not directly on top of the lips. It reeaaally stands out and is kind of tacky looking. I'd also put a little more shadow around the right nostril. Not a lot, just a touch.

Oh my goodness i love this! The colour works well without the actual colour... if you get what i mean. i want to see more!!!!

This is really beautiful, but I agree about the heart, it has to go. It doesn't fit with the rest of the picture
