It's in the way you make me smile.
It's in the way you call my name.
Being forlorn is now impossible.
_
It's in the way you watch over me.
It's in the way you set me free.
I have no reason to fear.
_
It's in the way you hold me close.
It's in the way you whisper to me.
Little sweet phrases sound so good.
_
It's in the way we can sing.
It's in the music that we share.
I can now be myself.
_
It's in the way you listen to me.
It's in the way you trust me, too.
We have no more secrets.
_
It's not the words or the acts.
It's not the interests that we share.
It's the way you show and prove
that you love me,
and that matters the most,
because, for that,
I love you.

Wow.
I'm guessing from your Location that you're pretty hung up on some guy, and this is your little tribute to him.
I loved it. I totally get your choice not to capitalise at the end - on some other writers, I would pick up on that, but after Rosey told me it's entirely optional, I can appreciate why you did it - not accidentally, but for effect. I liked it a lot.

Overall, great poem. maybe you could try a rhyming one next time??

Keep writing!!

I disagree. Your first two lines of your verses were rhyming, and they were very good.
Its a good poem, and it makes sense. And it describes how everybody feels at sometime in their life. :elephant:

I'm in the middle on it, I don't really have anything to say on what I didn't like about it however.... I did like the format, and I liked the message and how easy it was to understand. Keep writing!

I really enjoyed this. I like how you kept it simple but yet it made me really think about it after I read it. All in all-simply amazing. Your begining was strong and your end complimented it like perfectly. (at least to me it did) so yea I liked it. =]

The most important service rendered by the press and the magazines is that of educating people to approach printed matter with distrust.
