Hello everyone!
I'm PinkShearwater.
Pink for short =D
I'm a writer (no duh).
I'm super excited, I can't believe I found this place and once I
set eyes on here I registered right away!
I've written some stories before but none of them really that great.
But I've started working on a new project which I'm really excited about
and I can't wait to share it! =]
It's about "Demon hunters" or in my head "Keepers."
Hopefully you guys will give it shot! =]

I look forward to receiving your critiques because it only helps
make me a better writer!

Welcome to YWS Pink!!

It's so nice to meet new people here. I share your excitement about finding this. and don't worry we're here to help,so just post your work and be sure I'll be willing to review it and help you as much as I can, you just have to PM me and that's it. Let me just tell you that YWS is a great place to improve your writing and obvioulsy make new buddies.

what's your favorite color? Your favorite movie? YOur favorite song? What kind of books do you read? What's your favorite book?What kind of musis do you like? and tons more...

Hey Pink! Aqua here! (Wow, we are totally colour buddies xD)

Welcome to the awesomeness that is ... *drum roll* YWS!

First off, a run down of the rules:

1) NO CAPS LOCK nd dnt tlk lyk dis SISTARRRR
It is a writers website after all!

2) The 2:1 ratio. You have to do 2 reviews for every piece of work you post. In October this'll go up to 3:1, November 4:1 and December 5:1. If you go on My YWS, and then user statistics, you can check out your ratio as it stands.

3) Rate your work, especially if it involves the F word or/and adult content, then it has to be R. People like to know what they're getting into!

And, you might have noticed that some people have coloured names, here's a guide to the levels of YWS...

Greeters: Well, bit obvious, they greet newbies!
Instuctors:The best reviewers YWS can throw at us. You ever want a really thorough review? PM someone in purple!
Junior Mods and Moderators: They look after the forums, making sure everyone behaving correctly etc. The JMs looks after certain forums (like Poetry) and the Mods look after the whole thing.
Distinguished members: People who have retired from being a Mod.
Admin: The reason we are up and running, objects of worship etc!

If I were you, I'd check out the chat (on the homepage) I'm on there quite a bit so if you come in I'm sure we'll run into each other!
And demon hunters? That's so cool! Just the kind of book I like to read! Feel free to PM me if you want it reviewed.

And, now that's over, how about some questions! *evil laugh*

Who's your favourite authour? What genre do you read/write. Poetry or fiction? If you went to a desert island, what three books would you take with you? What three misc. items would you take with you? And what would you eat/drink for the rest of your life?

Hiya and welcome!

Your story sounds really cool; I'm glad you don't mind some critiques. Critiquing and being critiqued is the best way to learn and get your writing from "okay" to "fantastic." I add in "critiquing" in there because if you can say what's wrong in somebody else's work, you're one step closer to being able to spot things wrong in your work. A "review" has to be at least three lines, and any more is much appreciated!

A place you might want to check out is the Knowledge Base. It's got articles written by YWSers on how to improve several aspects of your writing. Just search what you want to look for and away you go!
